Being an “insider” comes with backlash. You say what you’re “hearing” and there are some waiting for you to be wrong.

Which is silly. His source might've spun what he told him too optimistically. Or the info might've been pretty good at the time, but the situation changed 180° and his source didn't get wind of it to let him know. So he was WRONG!! A FRAUD!!

If Bama had the two ILBers that 10RC started this year I believe we would have made the show. 11 and 35 I believe were there numbers with 11 being the freshmen. 35 is a bad man.

I'm just hoping the Ansley and Tosh rumors are true.

We get rid of deadweight (Golding) and add a damn good position and recruiting beast (Tosh) and an agressive DC (Ansley).

And to think, Bama would have To'o To'o if Lupoi stayed...and now Lupoi might come back

Man I thought the same thing a week ago

If we got rid of Golding instead of Tosh, we'd have had him instead of Shane Lee starting

I love Tosh as a position coach and recruiter. Just keep him the frick away from DC(unless the rumors of Golding also calling plays last year is true)

If Ansley, Tosh, and possibly Bo Davis come back, which coaches leave besides Golding? I seen some fans mention Flood and Wiggins, and I honestly think they have done a good job so far.

"Here are a few quick notes regarding the draft decisions on Alabama's juniors:

-- No surprises here: Jerry Jeudy, Najee Harris and Jedrick Wills are all expected to turn pro.

-- The latest rumblings suggest Henry Ruggs III will join them in the 2020 NFL Draft pool. Xavier McKinney, too, who received a first-round draft grade. But as we saw yesterday with an expected announcement that didn't happen, things can always change. #fluid

-- We're still not certain on DeVonta Smith and Tua Tagovailoa. The latter met with doctors in New York on Friday. Regardless of what Tua decides, we will all find out for sure when he announces Monday, Jan. 6. It doesn't sound like it will be a press conference.

We'll continue to keep you guys posted on news of announcements and what we're hearing."

The talk was Saban wanted "better coaches" after selling out on recruiters the year before.

Doesn't seem like it was worth it yet, or at least compensate for the sharks Bama had on the trail.

They probably would've brought in another play caller ahead of Lupoi, but damn you can't deny his ability to pull in talent.

So obviously Wills is gone but was on the fence.

Ruggs and McKinney are on the fence but I’ve been told to expect McKinney to go pro and Ruggs to potentially stay.

Everything else has stayed the same with Tua and Smith.

Just Tua and Devonta and I will be happy.

Same. Ruggs would be gravy, but Waddle and Smith. Combined with Billingsley and another WR that steps up. Moses really was the one piece that I think makes the biggest impact.

seriously. it seems like only yesterday a super reliable insider told us wills, one of the consensus top tackles in the draft, was 85% staying. lol.

Yeah, but it might’ve been accurate at the time he posted. The first insider post I read on possible returnees had Wills as one of the most likely to declare, so you can tell it’s been very fluid. They’re young kids and are likely going back and forth; I think the farther (time-wise) they’re removed from the bowl game, the more the emotion wears off and the more likely those on the fence will declare for the draft.

I think the insiders are just telling us what they’re hearing, it’s not like they’re infallible...while I appreciate their insight, I don’t take anything as gospel till I hear it from the horse’s mouth...

Tua , Smith , Leatherwood, and Moses.... if that is what we end up with I would take that everyday and twice on Sunday’s. These guys have to make decisions best for THEM so whatever they choose is fine . I expected to lose 6-8 so

I think if McKinney decides to leave we will be okay. Battle has superstar written all over him and I think Hellams will fill the other safety spot. Branch is one to keep an eye on also, think he will be a difference maker.

Michigan went right at Wright when he subbed in for McKinney for one play. (I know small sample size)

Wright is athletic as hell but he misses tons of tackles . Missed two big ones in the bowl on KO
