Twitter rumors that Milroe strained a hamstring in practice

Has not been reported by a single credible source yet to my knowledge so would prefer if it's just twitter bs

Last week Arnold was injured but was out there getting his arse chewed on Saturday night.

After hearing said rumor I sent out a few texts, all came back negative. One of them responded saying no one touches the QB in practice so banged up isn’t a good term. I asked if there was a non contact and he said no. So if he has something nagging it’s probably superficial.

But Twitter and the Rant say Milroe is practically in a full body cast. May want to check again.

Charlie Potter basically said the same thing. They haven't heard anything to suggest the rumors are true but keeping a eye on the situation

We know Milroe isn't hurt because if he was the vegas line would be moving in favor of Bama not the other way around. - Shaft probably

Not specifically responding to you, but is there a way to see what team most people are betting on? Or is that inside information that typically doesn't come out until GameDay? I'm just curious to see how everybody is betting this game.

I just watched most of the first half of the Miami/aTm game and I'm starting to get the sense that aTm has beat up on weaker teams like Auburn, Arkansas and have become a paper tiger. I could be way wrong here. They always play us tough though, no doubt

I hear the team played politics with the bookmakers. Intimidating them to the point where they refused to make Bama a bigger favorite so that Milroe’s feelings weren’t hurt

Yeah, I had one and it was an all-season deal. Would go away with rest and then spontaneously come back during a game, which was somehow worse.

I'm going through it now. Pulled it like 3 weeks ago, and every time I think its gone away, it'll pop back up. I play tennis, basketball, and run. When you are active and don't stay off of it for a week or more, those things linger.

Milroe did get up slowly after that last hit out of bounds

A buddy and I thought he was seriously injured there for a hot minute, and while all of the various scenarios are still charging through our heads, he just pops up and jogs back.

May have landed on the ball, but the replay didn't show much.

Even if that was something recurring, hopefully he was only "hurt" there and not "injured" (a sentiment which of course goes for all players).

He had a similar situation in the middle Tennessee game, the play before his second rushing touchdown. He got horse collar tackled and appeared to be in some pain, but then proceeded to run the exact same play for a touchdown. Then all of the hits in the Ole Miss game. He's taken a beating so far already and keeps on making plays

He's taken some hits where he should have just thrown the ball away.

I know these guys get the best care possible and they're in phenomenal shape, but it's still amazing what they ask their bodies to do on a weekly basis.

At my advanced age, I would be laid out on the ground somewhere just attempting most of what they accomplish during an average game, let alone trying to do so with a nagging injury.

I don't mean to cast aspersions, but I think maybe he shouldn't have even been in the game when the play in question happened last week.

I could be wrong though — wasn't that on the series right before Simpson came in?

Speaking of which, for a road game, why is Buchner still travelling with the team and dressing out on the sideline? Surely he's not getting anymore PT at this point?

You aren't wrong, most of his bigger hits have been caused by his indecisiveness. The light is starting to come on with his internal clock in the pocket, knowing when to tuck it and run. Which was a very positive sign in the Mississippi State game. Just need him to know when to throw it away now

Simpson should've been in the game, but I can also see us wanting to get Milroe as many live reps as possible before our next biggest test of the season. It's definitely a double edged sword on when to pull the starters vs getting valuable experience in live situations.

32 still doing therapy on the ankle. High ankles take time. No decision made yet on availability.
