Do we actually want to keep guys who can't even be bothered to show up on time?

Good . Time to cut bait

What guys do you think this pertains to? As in guys we may lose?

I hate to speculate , and that’s all it would be, but I would bet it is not the ones KDB has talked about as being leaders in his interviews

Remember most of these aren't his players. Saban ran into the same kind of locker room when he got to Bama as well. A six loss season does a world of good to eliminate the entitled players. Maybe it has gotten to the point where Coach DeBoer can say, "do y'all want to continue to do it your way and be the laughingstock of the SEC and nation, or do y'all want to do it mine and be the team everybody expected y'all to be."

Saban called this the process. To me this is about creating good habits. If you put your seatbelt on every time you get in the car then it becomes second nature. You use your turn signal everytime whether or not someone is there and it becomes a good habit. If you ignore someone taunting you, you get use to it and it doesn't bother you. It's became a good habit.
Being on time for a meeting is late, being 15 minutes early for a meeting is on time.
Imo some.of these guys are just giving lip service about what it means for them to play for Alabama, what it means to step on that field. Because if they really did care they wouldn't be playing games that they play.

Saban lost control or these things wouldn't be happening at this level so soon.

Dipree is one of the good guys. We have a serious issue in the locker room. We are going to start losing guys.
Is that what you've heard or just your opinion?
ETA: I saw Boz's comments in the "is this about Milroe" thread. Interesting.

Well.. That's not a disturbing statement
If this is the case, coaches need to return some salaries. Even prime has a no late policy

Coach DeBoer parked slightly off center today, clearly hes just not cutting it

I agree but the culture had become entitled. Remember no more fried chicken in the weight room.
It sounds like we have a lot of that going on and a different type of Coach. Hopefully he’ll get it straightened out. Soon.

Didn’t Saban want a player lead team too? He always had a player council to advise him on things and to help with discipline I thought ?
I got a hunch the showing up on time, in the right uniform was not a part of the player-led elements under the prior regime.

Well that tells us all we need to know right there, but what we already knew. The lack of discipline off the field translated to a sloppy and undisciplined team on field

Well this thread is a kick in the nuts after not logging on all day. Someone at least tell me our pets’ heads aren’t falling off yet.
Boz when you say losing people, are you talking the problem folks or the good dudes who don’t want to be around an insane asylum?

Worried that Boz means the ones with their heads on straight. For example, guys like Bond and Downs jumped ship because they saw where this locker room was going and didn't want to be around that bullshite.
