I wonder how many barbershops in this country have open scissor logos.

How many film clips of sports talk shows located inside a barbershop have white open scissor logos?

I get the similarities but white on a black is standard. The only options were Crimson or White.

Portnoy would love a letter from Lebron's lawyer though. He hates him with a passion

Looks like they changed the name and logo to clearly differentiate between the two

I'd guess that was all LeBron asked for given that he didn't start with a cease and desist

Man Frick LeBron...He's great on and off the court but he's such a narcissist it's getting hard to take his side on anything. Someone mentioned it in another thread how awesome it would be if Collin Sexton's press conference Friday is from the bama barbershop. That would be the greatest FU ever to LeBron lol

That was great!

Looks like UA dropped the 'Shop Talk' name and simply used the 'Bama Cuts' name instead. I like it better anyway.

Considering that LeBron is the de facto GM in Cleveland, and they have a lottery pick this year, I doubt that happens.

Also, compared to Jordan and Kobe, he's waaaaaay down the scale when it comes to disgusting, malignant narcissism.

Classic snowflake response. Try to group people I with racist. Like I said, I was a HUGE LBJ fan then all the stuff people had said about his constant bitching was right in my face and I couldn't deny it anymore.
Please humor me, if you know all that I asked earlier why did you just say yes instead of proving it by answering those questions in your post?
Classic snowflake response? You insulted it me because I'm a fan of his and I'm a snowflake for insulting you back? And to answer you question, why respond to all of the questions you asked with the data you sought? I wouldn't have proved anything. I could have just googled it. I'm a guy in my mid 30s that has been following basketball way longer than I followed football, you don't think I've kept up with LeBron?

Highlights: Alabama releases second, renamed barbershop show (BOL, embedded videos)
quote:

Despite the back-and-forth between Nick Saban and LeBron James, “Shop Talk” continued. But in its second-ever installment, the name changed from “Shop Talk” to “Bama Cuts.”

Alabama released Part 2 of the first episode Wednesday after it received a letter addressing concerns over copyright infringement and trademark rights from UNINTERRUPTED -- James’ multimedia platform. Saban said, “I enjoyed it, and we’re going to continue to do it.”

“Bama Cuts” is a series of chats between former Crimson Tide players, and sometimes Saban, in Alabama’s brand-new barbershop “Bama Cuts” inside the Mal M. Moore Athletic Facility.

Like the first installment, this one features former Alabama receiver Julio Jones, defensive back Eddie Jackson and linebacker Ryan Anderson, and Saban is also included. This time, however, receiver Calvin Ridley and strength coach Scott Cochran make appearances.

Below are highlights from the Part 2 of the first episode, as well as the full video. Episode 2 is set to release next Wednesday, April 11, and it will feature former linebacker C.J. Mosley.

Episode 1, Part 2 highlights:

-- The second show started off with Saban asking about playing in colder climates. Jackson (Chicago) and Anderson (Washington D.C.) experience cold temperatures and snow, even at practice, and Jones has played in places like Green Bay where it was -9 degrees.

That discussion shifted to how professional players complain about everything.

“They complain a lot in the NFL, though,” Jackson said. “When I first got there … they were complaining about practice. I said, ‘Bruh, y’all just don’t know. We get breaks in between (in the NFL), we got halftime. Y’all better be grateful for this. … This is cake.’”

Saban smiled throughout that entire Jackson quote.

-- There were several entertaining exchanges during Part 2 of Episode 1. Here is one:

Saban, with a chuckle: “I’ve gotten soft around here in the last little bit. We don’t practice as hard as we used to. I give them more breaks, more time off.”

Jones: “They had it rougher than us, huh Coach?”

Anderson: “I saw y’all on TV. When I saw that … I thought, ‘I can’t go there.’”

Jones: “It’s real. It was real.”

Saban: “We were establishing something then.”

-- Cochran joined the fray at the 9-minute mark and the players joked he needed a spit shine.

-- Alabama’s director of football operations Ellis Ponder also made a brief appearance.

Ponder: “Coach, you’re going to be late for your meeting.”

Saban: “I’m kind of enjoying this. What meeting I got?”

-- The conversation of social media continued in the second part of Episode 1, and Saban had a quote that resulted in arguably one of the loudest outbursts of laughter in either episode.

“I still can’t send a text message,” Saban said. “And I can’t even use Miss Siri, or whatever her name is.”

Just watched both episodes. Pretty cool to hear the guys talk in a more relaxed setting. Who knew Julio was so philosophical? He's one of my all time favorites.

Absolutely. You can tell he has that southern work ethic. All he talked about was working hard and personal accountability.
