I think we get basketball. Maybe conference only and maybe little to no fans. But I’m optimistic we play.

Basketball is gonna happen IMO. Only allow 20 people on bench(13 players,4coaches, 3 other staff) and I think managing 20 people is doable

How is Petty showing up on all the NBA mock draft boards? Is he in there at all? 1st round? 2nd round?

I’d look, but I don’t know which ones are considered legit.

I haven’t looked lately, but I think he’s right there in the area where some teams are showing interest in drafting him and some aren’t. Really just seems 50/50 from everything Oats says.

Yeah, of all the mock drafts I've seen recently, about 1/2 have him in the bottom of the second round and 1/2 not in it.

I don't know exactly how it works but would assume that he may be waiting to see if 1 or 2 teams will reveal a lot of interest and seem intent to draft him with their 2nd round pick.

I suppose the unknown with projections for the 2nd round is that may only take one or two teams expressing a lot of interest to convince him to stay.

Petty would be a nice pick for the Warriors. He could spell Klay or take his place since he seems to always miss some games with an injury.

That would be great. Hope since Petty has the open door to come back to an Alabama team with high expectations, he'll only stay in the draft if he thinks he can land in a really good place for himself.

Whats the current situation with this? We are dealing with something similar in Isiah Joe. I'm guessing Bama has one spot open right now for his return. What is the plan if he goes pro?

Javian Davis didn't rule out coming back... Not sure what happens if Javian transfers and Petty goes pro

Basically what RTN said above. With Javian in the portal now, there is room for Petty to return.

If Petty comes back then Javian will have to leave. If Petty stays in the draft and Javian transfers, not sure what our plan is for that.

Its a difficult game these college coaches are always playing.

We didn't have any spots open for Joe a few weeks ago and a few days later we at a player announce he was transferring.

Yep, but you have to have a spot for a Petty/Joe type player if they do come back.

Luckily for us, I don't think Javian would have had much of an impact for us on the floor this year unless we suffered some serious injuries in our front court.
