That’s kind of surprising (in a good way). From what I’ve seen in his film, he looked to be more of a skilled prospect than an athletic one.

I agree. Hodgson’s comments made me much more optimistic and excited for Miles than I was initially tbh.

Much better move, numbers-wise, than Reese. Reese is a senior, so his scholly will open up after this season.

Tchikou is French, not Canadian, but I don't think this has anything to do with Petty, necessarily. It does clear the way for Petty to come back without a numbers crunch, but Tchikou was likely going to take away whatever was left of Davis's minutes.
Bruner, Reese, and Tchikou all fit the Oats system much better than Davis. And that's without even seeing what Rojas can do. Tchikou's signing made Davis the 3rd or 4th option at the #5 spot, at best.

I think this means good news on Petty. No way Nate goes into a Season where guys are gonna be missing games because of Covid without a Full roster

If Petty does return, good luck trying to figure out the starting 5/rotation. Roster would be stupid deep.
