I hope Galin ends up somewhere he can contribute.

And please god, let this mean Petty is coming back.

He tries so hard, but he’s just not even average at any part of basketball and he’s bad at a good many of those things.

Let's not get carried away now. Galin is above average at being tall.

Hopefully this means Petty is coming back. Otherwise there was no need to open up the roster spot.

I'm hopeful that it's Petty, but a week or two ago Harper was saying that Oats was interested in bringing in another transfer that would have to sit a year. So if it isn't Petty, it could be related to that. Would also line up with Oats saying something along the lines of "we're almost done with 2020".

I guess there is also the chance that Galin wasn't pushed and just decided on his own to leave.

Trying to find a hard number, but I know there are still several players currently in the portal. I can't tell you any that I know of that we have contacted or might be interested in though.

Is it possible that we try to get Anselem? Apparently we weren't recruiting him anymore but then when he backed off on committing we apparently got back in contact with him.

Pretty sure Reese is locked into our roster for next season. There’s been no legit talk of him transferring. Oats has mentioned him a couple of times in interviews too like he expects him back

Reese is fine with me if he isn’t gonna be playing starter minutes.

If Reese leaves at this point it would be his decision to go somewhere where he is gonna get more minutes.

I'm predicting Galin lands at a Samford, Troy, Mercer type of program. Best of luck, big guy

We also have 8 guys (including Petty) who’s first name starts with a J

Amen, Rockiee. That guy can coach. I'll follow his career at Wake closely since he was my personal favorite to replace Avery when we finally wised up. Oats has been phenomenal and I'm perfectly happy with him. I just didn't know him or think he was a realistic candidate when we started looking. Forbes was the obvious choice, besides Prohm, in our back yard (and y'alls) which is why I thought he was a perfect candidate for Arkansas too. I think Forbes will make waves at Wake.
