Up 3-0 in the first again:
Might need 17 this game

I’m still sick over losing that first game. I can’t even make myself watch the second one. Coaching cost us that one.

Welp
Went down to Gainesville and went 1-2
Shoulda coulda woulda been 2-1
Overall, pitching was decent. Even some of the HRs Hess gave up weren’t getting out of many parks. Balls had some serious carry today.
Kade Woods was fantastic finishing tonight.
Overall, we resembled a squad that can compete in SEC play.
1 and 2 vs #5 was probably expected.
Trying not to get too high or low on this team yet.

Need to come back home and beat UAB Tuesday then sweep Kentucky next weekend.

Big missed opportunity today. Should be coming off a series win against a top 5 team on the road but can't, and this is an absolute shocker, manage a bullpen properly.

Split for Baseball in Friday’s Doubleheader at Second-Ranked Florida
The Crimson Tide fell, 8-7, in game one before bouncing back for a 6-3 win in the nightcap
Alabama baseball split a doubleheader with the second-ranked Florida Gators on Friday at Condron Family Ballpark. With the split, the Crimson Tide is now 17-4 on the season and 1-2 in Southeastern Conference play.
Florida was able to mount a late comeback for an 8-7 walkoff win in game one. That victory secured the series for the Gators. Alabama did not lay down, however, earning a 6-3 win in the finale.
From Head Coach Brad Bohannon
"I was incredibly proud of our team. Both starters today – and really all three of our starters this weekend – gave us a chance to get a win. We also pitched well out of the bullpen. The park played really offensive today in the first game and they took more advantage of the wind howling out than we did. To get walked off is a tough one, but then to come out and score three against one of the best pitchers in the country, I think that says a lot about our club."

Bo must be pretty desperate if he's pitching Montana.

Kentucky is about to sweep MSU and improve to 18-2 (3-0).
State is off to a really rough start. If the score holds, they’ll fall to 13-8 (0-3). Im sure they’ll be clicking on all cylinders when we get to them though.

With McNairy picking up the midweek game we’re likely looking at Holman transitioning to the weekend rotation.
In-State Matchup for Baseball Brings UAB to The Joe
The Crimson Tide and Blazers will meet for the 83rd time in series history on Tuesday
Alabama returns to Tuscaloosa this week to begin a four-game stretch at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. The homestand opens with UAB on Tuesday at 6 p.m. CT. The in-state pairing will air live on SEC Network+.
The Tuesday matchup with UAB will continue the Crimson Tide's '$2 Tuesday' promotion. The deal is one of Alabama's season-long promotions at The Joe. Tuesday's contest will feature $2 reserved tickets for all fans in attendance. Also on Tuesday, Alabama softball head coach Patrick Murphy will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.
Probable Starting Pitching Matchup
TUESDAY: UA – Jacob McNairy (Gr., RHP) vs. UAB – TBA

Down 1-0 top 2
Are we saving Holman for the weekend? He would be coming in over a week and a half rest.
Or is he hurt?
