Alabama baseball's bid for a spot in Omaha continues as the 16th-ranked Tide meets with No. 1 Wake Forest this Saturday at 11 a.m. CT to begin Super Regional play. The Crimson Tide and Demon Deacons are scheduled for a best-of-three series at David F. Couch Ballpark with the winner advancing to the College World Series. Game one of the series will air on ESPN with Mike Ferrin and Gaby Sanchez on the call.
Probable Starting Pitching Matchups
SATURDAY: UA – Luke Holman (So., RHP) vs. WF – Rhett Lowder (Jr., RHP)
SUNDAY: UA – TBA vs. WF – TBA

twitter posts showing game will be delayed due to an emergency that is not game related. Saw two post on this and said it could be significant delay. Anyone have a clue what could have happened? Bomb threat perhaps?
