Because it takes a perfect throw by a guy running away from home plate at max speed and it's a prime risk taking spot - gonna be 2 outs for the next hitter so it takes a hit.
I'm fully fine with that send. Their SS made a helluva play. That is as hard a throw as exists from SS - across your body from 150 feet away.

Horrible decision. Not sure if it was the coach of Hammu there. Very good running the play before and then that.

Disagree. Not on a day where you’ve got 13 hits.
I thought the announcers were overstating the play. I don’t think there is an SEC shortstop that doesn’t make that play.

Absolute awful decision. Our bats are super hot. Don’t take the bats out of the hands of our guys. So short sided. I like the energy this coach brings but I don’t like his decisions.

TV guy nailed it on Quick. He's so big and long and jerky that it's got to be really hard to repeat a good motion and release point. Once he figures that out he's a top 30 pick arm. That thing is electric.
