Mississippi State with a 6 run rally in the 8th defeats Virginia 6-5. Virginia had a no hitter going until then.
Vandy vs. Stanford Wednesday in an elimination game. Virginia vs. Texas in an elimination game on Thursday. NC State and Mississippi State have the next two days off.

Hustling out of the box, @andrewpinckney_ turns a routine single up the middle into a leadoff double tonight in the opening inning for St Cloud.
Another weather casualty on the Cape tonight as Hyannis and Brewster have also been cancelled.@Caden_rose7 had just singled prior to the stoppage of play in the 4th inning.
Looks like the rain will be the winner tonight on Cape Cod, as Wareham and Falmouth have been cancelled in the 3rd inning of a scoreless tie.
Before the rain, @owendiodati had gone 1 for 2 for the Gatemen. Game will not be made up.

New Alabama Baseball commit. Originally signed with Indiana I believe. Not sure all the details, but he's ranked in the top 100 on PBR.

I guess I'm not down in the weeds enough to know how specific the differences are.......but I'd almost look at Samford as a better job than UAB? I don't know their financial commitment, but private and with a decent history.
Maybe he sees UAB as an athletic department with a chance to move up to the AAC with basketball/football and thinks he can kind of jump on that train.

As an SU alum I see the UAB as as step up. Financially they can probably pay more plus the coach is now part of the RSA
