Kills me to say it but it is hard to compete with the atmosphere at MSU

I now realize what an MSU football fan thinks when he watches a game at BDS or Tiger Stadium or any stadium other than their place.

I hope this is a sign of who’s coming back and who’s coming in for 2022.

Yeah, same.

Honestly, some new blood wouldn't hurt anyway imo. Of the names i've seen that are transferring out, TJ Reeves is the only one that is even mildly disappointing for me. Shamblin wasn't bad, but I don't think he's a great arm. We do need to hit on the guys that are coming in though.

The corresponding RollTide.com write up:

Lee, Wilson Selected to ABCA/Rawlings All-Southeast Region Team

The duo was tabbed as first-teamers, the Tide’s first honorees since 2012

Alabama's Chase Lee and Peyton Wilson were selected to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings All-Southeast Region First Team, the organization announced on Wednesday morning.

Lee and Wilson are the first Crimson Tide student-athletes to earn recognition from the ABCA since Taylor Dugas was selected to the All-Southeast Region team in 2012. It also marks the first time more than one Alabama player has been selected in the same season by the ABCA since 2009 when Austin Hyatt and Kent Matthes were each named to the list.

(editor’s note: it’s been way too long)

Another honor

Chase Lee Earns Third Team All-America Honors from NCBWA

Lee is the Tide’s first All-America honoree by the NCBWA since 2016

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama's Chase Lee earned third team All-America honors from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), the organization announced on Wednesday afternoon.

The junior earned his second postseason honor as he was selected to the ABCA/Rawlings All-Southeast Region First Team earlier on Wednesday. Lee's recognition is the Tide's first from the NCBWA since 2016 when Thomas Burrows was tabbed to the outlet's third team as a relief pitcher, as well.

Not a lot of cohesive info as to what the guys are up to this summer. Although he expects to be drafted, Sam indicated if “things didn’t work out”, he hoped Coach Bo would take him back. LINK. His full interview with Roger Hoover is supposed to be available Thursday at 2 pm.

And Eli Giles is with the Amsterdam Mohawks this summer….

what is the PGCbaseball. I assume something like Cap Cod. Cap Cod is probably the more prestigious though?

Had no idea there were this many summer leagues out there - 85 according to this site. Had to hit “Show more” twice to load them all. In 2018 and 2019 UA posted where every player was playing over the summer. Not sure why they haven’t done it this year so fans can more easily follow along.
