After last years positive but abbreviated season and CP rated so high by draft services I was expecting better results prior to the injuries ... just never materialized . Ras and Smith I thought stepped up but just not enough arms to keep up in the SEC

Agreed. Bo hasn’t been perfect and I’m sure there are some that wouldn’t mind him being replaced, but I’d rather just watch him grow as a manger with the program. He’s a guy that would coach here for 20 years if we let him. He’s still learning how to manage right now, but he loves baseball and his players love him. Let him grow and I think we’ll benefit long term.

Absolutely agree. He is the mold of guy that we have to have to win here. We just have to hope he figures it out. I mean we aren't far, that last step is always the hardest. Especially in this league.

A guy like Vitello is great but there's no shot he's still there in 2-3 years. And hey, they make hire a great replacement and roll on.

We're a different job (as is Auburn). You have to have a Mark Stoops at Kentucky type guy here and you have to give him time to build his way. The scholarship situation demands it.

Yea I am a Bo supporter. With what he inherited it is way too early to write him off . He is a good recruiter which is what Bama needs right now .... give him time

He came into an absolute dumpster fire and has upped the talent in a short time. Young team and bad luck with injuries this year

Agreed. Me too. This has been frustrating, but with the injuries and depth issues being tested by those it's absolutely reasonable.

Just sucks because we were so damn close.

Happy for Guffey for going out like that at the Joe.

Maybe he can be a factor in the tournament.

If we don’t make a regional next year, he’s got to be gone, right?

I would hope we would be in contention for a regional . Thought we would be this year. I guess to me it depends on circumstances like this year with injuries . I just want to see steady progress and I think Bo is doing that . Even though we are getting better, the rest of the SEC is too and we have so much ground to gain. I mean outside of Praytor and maybe Wilson, I don’t see any position player that would get significant PT on the majority of teams in the SEC, not to mention basically season ending injuries to your #1 and 2 or 3 weekend starters . I just can’t believe how bad Goff screwed things up

Coach got tossed after the 8th inning so I’m guessing no post game press conference. Disappointing night for Senior Night. One more tomorrow then the ballpark chatter is 4:30 pm on Tuesday in Hoover.

Baseball Falls to Sixth-Ranked Mississippi State, 7-0

Alabama Baseball Blanked by No. 6 Mississippi State, 7-0

A dynamic eight-inning performance by Bulldogs starter Will Bednar limited the Crimson Tide to just three hits

I dunno if he'd be gone but he'd definitely be feeling heat.

This year was a step up in results from 2017/2018, and after injuries to our 2 best starting pitchers. It's reasonable to expect another step up next year with a lot of roster, including those 2 pitchers, back.

This year we won most all of the games we should have won and lost almost all the games we were underdogs in. Next year we have to start winning a few series against the upper part of the league. That's the difference in 12-18 and 16-14.

Harry Doyle: One hit, that's all we got, one goddamn hit?

Assistant: You can't say goddamn on the air.

Harry Doyle: Don't worry, nobody is listening anyway.

Amazing what a change in uniform can do to your perception of a guy!

He's still a dick

McNairy gets through the 2nd still with a goose egg.

Have to figure the plan is for McNairy for 3, Shamblin for 3, then Green/Lee combo.

McNairy has looked decent so far but we know the goose egg can turn into a 5 spot in like 25 seconds.

Bo went with Shamblin in the 3rd.

I don’t mind this move.
