That's the the thing...

Grant Nelson doesn't need for you to design him a play because he can just take people off the dribble like he did tonight.

He's a unicorn!

Derrion Reid is gonna be a monster once he gets acclimated to the college game. He’s long and can defend. He also has a decent stroke. I think he and Philon have a ton of upside.

Be interesting to see what they do with the minutes once Youngblood returns.

Recorded the game. Tough to watch with all the fouls. We will be fine. Sears and Wrightsell won’t shoot like that very much.

Have to clean up the foul shooting. Hopefully that kind of game keeps them humble and hungry.

Tough game to watch last night, first half felt like the Memphis exhibition game. Throw in it being one of those nights where the shots weren’t falling and yuck.

Youngblood is going to start and be the best player on the team other than Sears.

I watch a lot of AAC ball because it’s on Sundays and Youngblood is a dude. Really Really Good. And we will need his shooting

I love Nate he is an elite coach but I just don’t get Redshirting Mallette. Dude is a knock down automatic shooter who showed it in the 2 exhibition games. He could have helped us this year

Im not as impressed with Philon as some of yall are. I think he's good. But not one of our best 5. He seems to be playing a little too fast. I would prefer to see some more flow and cohesion.

We took a lot of bad shots last night. Not talking about middies. We just had too many guys with a quick trigger instead of making the extra pass.

Reid showed some big time athleticism last night. Once he starts putting it all together, he will be really really good. If he stays another year, he will be a league bully. He has a size and explosiveness combo that you dont see often. Kinda like a Zion, but without the handle.

Jarin was being used as a perimeter defender last night. He definitely causes some problems with his length. I dont think he was in that role much last year. It adds a lot to what we can do on defense.

Mo D is gonna be your favorite Bama basketball player's favorite Bama basketball player. He plays hard the whole time he is on the floor and he isnt looking to get his own shot. He is an elite rebounder. His defense is the kind of stuff Nate Oats wants from everyone.

Clifford is a grown arse man.

He has been dealing with medical issues since this summer is what I read. I think the player approached coach. He would be playing on a loaded team and not be 100%

We have the bigs this year for the Pg's to dish to in the paint. So when the 3's are not falling we can pound the rock down in the paint.

It wasn’t a huge crowd but it was a solid one for sure.

If you're not impressed with Philon then you must be BLIND...just being honest.

He did have 4 fouls at the 4:24 mark of the first half in 8 minutes of playing time.

I see the narrative you’re trying to push…

Cliff was not good last night. He was extremely undisciplined defensively. Had multiple breakdowns.

On the other end, you’re completely ignoring Labaron’s defense. He was phenomenal

Starters and bench matter a whole lot less that who averages 25 minutes instead of 10-15...
But that the bench here includes 3 of the best perimeter shooters probably isn't going to be the consistent choice for an offense based on shooters creating space.

Im not pushing any narrative. Just stating my observations. I care about getting wins, not who plays.
