And you are Milroe’s daddy. Actually I don’t even think his dad would be as ridiculous as you.

Yes, the offense lacked experience on the oline, explosive receivers and stud RB. Milroe basically had to do it himself.

He and a couple of others in this thread are clearly trolling. It’s literally all they do on this site. If someone tells the truth about Milroe then they jump all over you calling you a hater or a racist.

Rule #1....please don't criticize a black QB
Rule #2....see rule #1

Just pretend 4 is white and go from there. Kind of like our center 56.

What if he doesn’t? How many games are you willing to watch us lose until you finally start to admit some of his short comings?

I hope he can put it together. The kid could be an absolute stud, but he’s going to have to improve faster/more than he did throughout the year this spring. I guess we’re about to see what kind of QB whisperer Rees is.

4 plays the game just as he did in HS. When he comes to the LOS he is throwing the ball the the primary receiver come hell of high water. If the guy is open then Bingo. If not then a 13 yard loss.

His I3 processor isn't enough to get that big ole trophy.

I agree 100% I think they were trying to make the QBs look bad.

If there were players who intentionally didn’t play hard and tried to get Buchner and Simpson injured then they should be punished. That is ridiculously wrong.

I agree with you but as much as he has improved, he still isn’t close to being at a level where he can lead the team to a national championship.

Why the heck didn't our idiot OC run plays to use what he can do consistently?

Rees wants to run a pro style offense. That is his bread and butter. I don’t know this for certain but I don’t think he wants Milroe as his QB because he can’t run what Rees wants to do. We are trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.

We will all be happy as hell if he turns the corner but he has a long way to go.

Yeah and he starts each game with that same bullshite then needs someone to make him adjust at halftime to what we can actually run.

He's the OC it's his job to use our very explosive offensive sets to maximize our talent not for him to regress us to what he is comfortable with.

I think you cab agree with me on that point.

I agree and the cringe when he yelled "gimmie the Heisman" made me feel we were going to fall short like some bad omen.

The guy is limited but he isn't trash and he has improved. That was my point.

On the other hand you have dude's protecting an OC who was average at Notre Dame and has been average at Alabama calling plays.

The thing is he literally could have this year had our DB listened to the LB who told him to cover the flat option on that Michigan 4th down.

We were that close.

I mean we won a national championship with far worse QBs and people love giving them all the credit as if it wasn't our defense kill the other teams and them just not sucking too much

Someone brought up Milroe missing the checkdowns and I don’t think some fans truly understand how bad it is. The checkdown or a crossing route is wide open, almost every play and he misses it or finds it at the last possible moment.

I just want him to be able to go through his reads, 9 times out of 10, he will go first read, roll out right and try to make up something. IF he is able to correct this, his ceiling is through the roof. IF he can’t, Ty will pass him.

I agree Rees needs to grow as an OC especially at the start of the game and molding the offense to his personnel. With that said, the number of OCs like Sark and Lane are few and far between. Rees has potential and like you said in an earlier post, he is actually developing the QBs unlike our previous OC. We are not lacking talent on offense, we need a leader on the field that can put us in good situations and move the chains.

People bitched and bitched in 2010 about how long McElroy held onto the ball lol

The difference is those QBs could move the chains, give the defense time to rest, and allow those defenses to dominate.

Or if the offense would have taken advantage of the D not allowing a single 1st down until that play.

I want to make sure I’m following you correctly here. Are you saying Milroe did enough to win the game and our D is the reason we lost?

I’m saying you’re wrong because that was 13 years ago and I could be misremembering but I don’t think he held onto the ball close to as long as Milroe.

I’ve been trying to find the stat. For how long Milroe holds the ball compared to others but can’t find it. Does anyone know who tracks that stat? It might be PFF and you need a sub.

Milroe has the longest Time to Throw in the SEC. Don’t know the exact time but it’s more than 3 seconds (3+ was the highest filter to choose)

I'm saying our OC is the main one at fault. After him our Center, OL blocking and then our QB.

The mob in this forum wants to put all the blame on the QB while making excuses or minimizing the impact of the other three (OC, OL and center).

In the end we had a 7 point lead with 4 minutes remaining. We gave up a 1st down on 4th and 2 on a play we should have easily covered and had we covered we would have won the game.
