Anyone remember Herb Brooks ? He was the coach of the 1980 USA men’s hockey team that beat the Soviets. He always said “I’m not looking for the best players. I’m looking for the right ones.” You have to make sure that you have the right people around you in tough situations like we were in yesterday.

- give me disciplined hard-effort losses and I would feel a whole lot better than watching what i did yesterday. I can handle losses but yesterday, last week and the week before that though were basically insults to what Alabama football should be regarding discipline, effort and team

Not saying I’d be happy with some guys not really trying if Milroe was benched. Frankly, if a player pulls that crap, I would bench that player or those players too. You can’t let the inmates run the asylum.

I would be thrilled with players doing that. Makes it a lot easier to identify who needs to be asked, politely but firmly, to leave.
