Good for him, too bad it was with the Raiders, he won't be able to make a post season or pro bowl until his next contract on another team.

This, he will just be another very good player that ends up being average at most with the Raiders. They are by far the worse team in the NFL and have been for many years now.

The raiders were in a super bowl not too long ago.

For that matter, so were the Bucs and Titans. But Oakland does seem to be turning the corner, slightly. Jack Del Rio as head coach is a start. Cooper has a good QB to work with as well.

Raiders are assembling a decent squad. Carr, Mack, Cooper, couple good RBs, etc. They will win some games this year and build on it.

Offensive line is looking good too. Gabe Jackson from Mississippi State had a good year. Just hate that they released James Jones. Guy was the leading receiver, good veteran, and would be a opposing threat outside of Coop.

The Bucs won the super bowl the last time the Raiders were in it. The Titans played in the super bowl a couple years prior. All those things were a long time ago

I sign another 6 year contract for the navy on Monday. Spoiler Alert: I won't be making that much money.

doesn't matter if it only took a a few seconds, it is still time that you are taking partaking in something that you claim to not care about. And now you are posting multiple times and refreshing this thread that you don't care about.

Brilliant.

Great for him... Sucks that he has to live in Oakland and play for a team where careers go to die with the trashiest fanbase on the freaking planet... :banghead:

Rockridge in Oakland is a beautiful part of the city and not dangerous. College Ave is pretty damn cool too.

Doesn't matter anyways. They're all packing up and moving back to LA.

And with that move will come a focus on marketing the team's stars in order to ramp up the fanbase and season tickets. Cooper (and Carr) will be heavily promoted in the #2 media market in the country. His endorsement money from Nike and others could rival his football money. If the team plays well - and he's a big part of it - the fact that he's in such a large market will help his national brand.

Being drafted by Oakland only sucks if you stay in Oakland.

Yes, and very understated compared to how giddy I would be to have 14 million without ever playing a snap. I'd be more like this:
