Dbag or not - almost 3000 yards and 17 TDs in a career...I'll take that. And Hall was pretty damn clutch against UT when he hauled in a pass that setup the game winner by Jamie Christensen

My fault for not stating this in the rules. Not changing the players positions. for example, if you like cyrus K and andre smith, you can't move cyrus to RT just to make room. Hightower was a MLB, so you cant move him to the outside

um, i may be wrong here but didnt upshaw and dickson play the exact same spot?

DJ Hall = locker room cancer therefore no accolades.

Another vote for Norwood over Maze, hands down.

Richardson and Lacey should be 1B to Ingram's 1A and I daresay Ingram doesn't win the Heisman if TR isn't spelling him and backing him up.

I like Peek at TE, but Brad Smelley should also be considered, certainly before Michael "Stone Hands" Williams.

I'd also nominate Javy for the Star position. Nobody could bring the corner blitz like he could.

And Vinnie Sunseri for the Nickel back.

I think by the end of his career, he was the best TE Alabama has had under Saban. By far.

Didn't Hightower play one of the OLB positions early in his career at Bama?

I might take Carpenter over Smith.

He was always playing WILL I think, but in some special packages, he would line up at JACK or SAM

I don't think he was a better blocker than Michael Williams, and I'm not sure he was a better receiver than Peek or Nick Walker. He spent a lot of time at Hback, and I would say Fowler has him there. Smelley could be the most well-rounded, though - definitely a fun debate.

Josh Chapman
The most underrated player of the Saban era. Hightower,Mosely, and Nico Johnson made a ton of plays because Josh Chapman was immovable. Nobody could blow that guy off the ball in 2011.

Then you broke your own rule. Warmack played LG his entire time at Bama.

LT- Andre Smith

Does he really deserve this spot- all things being considered?

Yeah, either him or Carpenter. I'd say that it's a wash.

All of that doesn't really matter though, because it's quite obvious that Cam Robinson will be the best by the time he goes to the NFL.

Yeah, I said I might take Carpenter, and I actually got a downvote. James Carpenter was a 1st round draft pick and a damn good LT. Not drafted quite as high as Smith, but he also didn't get suspended before a bowl game.
