That’s why I think the committee is the corner. They propped up Indiana and their metrics are worse than SMU’s. Hell even Penn St. doesn’t have a ranked win.

Neither does Texas. The fact is, number of losses is all that matters. Lose less and get in, no matter who you’ve played.

Clearly, they wanted to make sure that a crazy amount of Big Ten teams get in even though they play a weak schedule.

It’s so odd to have these big conferences that are legit like the Big10 and SEC and have several teams with 11 wins and none of them ranked. This includes Indiana, Texas, and Penn State. Very odd.

Penn State, SMU, Texas, and Indiana are all about to get in based on record alone. They avoided playing some of the most difficult teams in their conferences during the regular season and it ended up working to their advantage.

Alabama's losses against Oklahoma and Vanderbilt look bad on paper because both teams are 6-6, but look at who they played in the regular season. Vanderbilt had to play Texas, South Carolina, Missouri, Tennessee, LSU, and Alabama while Oklahoma had to play Tennessee, Ole Miss, South Carolina, LSU, Texas, and Alabama.

How do Vanderbilt and Oklahoma finish in the regular season playing SMU's or Indiana's schedule?
