On another topic, watching Michigan I did not realize that Sam Walters had transferred again and is now at SMU and is all but a cheerleader at this point in his career. His best numbers were his freshman year at Alabama and he has trended hard down to the point of really not even playing for a marginal team and averaging 2 ppg.

Yep. He left Michigan and committed to Mississippi State but then switched to SMU. He’s been hurt at every stop.

Hate it for him. He probably was never going to be able to stay on the floor for long periods in the sec because he got worked defensively. But he had some promise on offense

Watching Walters his freshman year I never felt like he had the lateral quickness to have an impact at a high level. He doesn’t really do anything great.
I always try to hide my criticisms about guys while they’re on the team but with him I was pretty vocal about him being buns.
There’s a guy i feel that way about on this team and I feel bad because I met him and he’s a super nice kid but lawd…. I’m cheering for him to prove me wrong

Alright frick the warm ups. Get them out there. They coulda been warming up on a nerf hoop in the locker room.

Also, just a fun PSA…Stoney Brook beat Bethune-Cookman by 7 in regulation today dropping them to 2-5 on the season and gave up 54 points. AU was tied with Bethune-Cookman after regulation after giving up 81.
