Going to see if we can follow the Fall Sports this year. If it gets axed, it gets axed.

Swimming is so weird. I didn't realize there wasn't a lot of one on one meets. Sucks that we only host 3 meets too. Might as well just swim at the Rec (just kidding MoarKilometers)

I hope this new tie in with the CSL brings in some viewership and $$. Maintaining a pool is expensive. Bama's aquatic center got some nice upgrades not too long ago and its a shame they only host three meets.

There normally are. Our schedule is just dog shite. Once a year tri meets aren't super uncommon, though. We did one last 3 years with fsu + lsu. We are slated to swim uga at minimum 3 times, with a possible 4th, all before SECs. Auburn is at 2 with a possible 3rd. I strongly suspect both will be there in our epic battle for DFL (dead ... last) in the inaugural college swim league season

Edit: just looked at the format, DFL actually stays home. So we're duking it out with those 2 over who gets the absolute embarrassment of not even participating in the wildcard meet. The other 5 schools were all top 10 in both men's and women's... whereas the trio I've keyed in on weren't top 10 in either.

Miami doesn't participate in men's swimming, so I'm fairly insistent on saying it's only 2.

It beats going to CSL meets in Indiana and Illinois
