Softball Back in Action for Easton Bama Bash

No. 5 Alabama softball welcomes Liberty and No. 8 LSU to Rhoads Stadium for the Easton Bama Bash! Fans should note the schedule for this weekend's games has been updated. Fans can watch all of the Crimson Tide's games on SEC Network+ or listen live on 93.3 FM.

Kaylee Tow, is also starting her senior season at Alabama. The Crimson Tide are also undefeated so far this season at 4-0. Tow was a big part of the offense in the opener against Alabama State as she drove in two runs on a walk in the first inning and a solo home run in the fourth while the ‘Bama pitching staff threw a combined perfect game in the 10-0 win on Friday. Alabama also shut out Notre Dame 10-0 on Saturday with Tow going 1-for-2 with an RBI and they swept a doubleheader against Louisville on Sunday 4-0 and 5-0. Tow struggled at the plate on Sunday going 1-for-6 for the day, but picked up a stolen base in the second game. Through the first four games, the former All-American sports a batting average of .300.

At least one Crimson Tide game every SEC weekend will be on the ESPN family of networks

Alabama softball will be featured in 12 televised contests across the ESPN family of networks during the 2021 regular season, appearing at least once during every conference series.

All home games and every Southeastern Conference road contest will also be streamed online through the SEC Network+ digital platform, available at WatchESPN.com or on the ESPN app. Additionally, the entirety of the 2021 SEC Softball Tournament will also be aired live on the ESPN family of networks.

Tide softball to host Easton Bama Bash

Patrick Murphy’s Team 25 is playing at home for the first time in 2021 as the no. 5 Crimson Tide [4-0] will host the annual Easton Bama Bash at Rhoads Stadium this weekend. After facing Liberty Friday at 3 p.m. CT, Bama will face the Flames again Saturday at 1:30 p.m. At 4 p.m. Saturday the Tide takes on SEC foe LSU in a game that won’t count in conference standings. The Tide will then face the Tigers Sunday at 1 pm to close out the weekend.
