Good recap Alabama_Fan. Fouts sailed through her outing, giving up her only hit of the season. Kilfoyl struggled at times, loading the bases twice but got out of her troubles without giving up a run. Roll Tide.

FYI: The Bama Broadcast crew indicated the games next weekend WOULD be streamed on line. No details other than that at present. I’m sure they’ll attach the details to the schedule as the games get closer. Roll Tide!

Poor LABamafan. Team is doing well and she can’t gripe and complain. If we keep this up, she won’t be able to post all season.

u think he is a she? We are getting little production from the people playing 2b. I dont think he has settled on a starter yet as several people have played that position.

It's sad how little you know about sports. Particularly, softball. And, football, baseball, basketball....

Are we seriously going to do this, fellas?

I was minding my own business.

Well, for one, you responded to someone who didn't even say anything negative about you.

It's all good. He did comment about me answering the post above his. Anyway. I don't have time to argue with him. Besides, Bama played the equivalents of high end middle school teams this weekend.

After contributing to a perfect game as part of 12.0 shutout innings in the circle last weekend, Alabama softball's Montana Fouts has been named this week's SEC Pitcher of the Week, it was announced Monday.

I for one thought she was playing out of position at short and second. She seemed a bit clumsy with limited range and slow hands. Good hitter but she seemed better suited for right field or first base.
I'm glad to see that I was not the only person who was seeing that!
I was hearing basically the same as had been said about her not wanting to give up SS. She was ok at 2nd, but not a good at SS.
As a mom of daughter who played catcher in travel from 8 years to 18 years old, I think Skylar would not be a good catcher for the same reason my daughter didn't play in college. My daughter grew to be 5'8" tall, long legs, and very lean, it takes longer for a tall girl with long legs to pop up from her catching position. Skylar is built the same way.
