Lost 4-0 to Northwestern. This might be the worst Bama softball team since the 90s.

I totally agree. The pitchers know if they get down a run they are screwed. Something has to

The hitting coach has been a sore spot for softball fans for a few years. Did Murph change that in the off-season? I don't know. I casually follow softball until the post-season.

to sum it all up: the softball team sux! the game has passed Murphy by. you now have to have some offense. pitching and little punch n judy hitters will no longer get it done in the SEC!

Osorio just struck out 21 Fordham batters to tie the record for 7 inning games. Only been done once before. Bama wins 7-2.

Poor hitting support for Gettins against a weak Samford team. Osario had to come in the bottom of the 7th to strike out the last batter for a 1-0 win. Pitiful hitting performance.

When the SEC schedule kicks in, this team will really be exposed. Murphy is waiting for his pension. Who Is the hitting coach? The chick that coaches first base is claim to fame is suing folks to pitch on a boys team in high school. Did Murphy even play much less hit well enough to qualify as a hitting coach? Murphy and sugar britches that coaches first and claps like a freakin seal, have been carried by the players. This season is going to get ugly......

It's not like Murphy hasn't made tough decisions before. I think he pretty much told an old assistant to find another job (now the HC at Miss State) and won the natty the next year.
