Not challenging the Devonta catch was big. I think the D over is over compensating knowing the offense is dead and getting penalties. Johnson is basically a disaster. The football gods have been trying to tell us all season the Niners aren't allowed to have a QB .

Wish I could help but I got no clue. The 49ers don't have anymore QBs and McCaffrey is the emergency QB with a cafe injury. You don't want to see this. Maybe someone comes through for Chiefs Bengals lol.

At least I don't have to watch Garapollo come in and lose another Super Bowl lol. Just a long season of Burdy/Trey Lance with everybody being pissed when they go with Lance .

So Carlton, you think they stand pat with Lance and Purdy? The 49ers are so talented and just seem to lack elite QB play. Is Lance the guy? Can he stay healthy?

Yeah that is what I expect them to do. Garapollo will finally be able to get a job some where. Purdy is on a 4 year contract. A lot people expect Purdy to start but I am pretty sure they go back to Lance. To much capital already has been put into him with the draft picks they used to get him. The whole reason they made the terrible trade to begin with is Shananhan wanted someone who could run and could push the ball down field for explosive plays. As great as Purdy has been, he is still essentially a less mistake prone, more mobile Garapollo.

What is also hilarious to me is that even though the Niners have had decent QB play at times since Montana and Young, they had chances at Rodgers (drafted Alex Smith cause Rodgers wasn't obedient enough), Manning (probably doesn't go to the NFC, but Harbaugh still acted an arse when he came to work out) and Brady (stuck with Garapollo ). You can't make it up, just a comedy of errors.

Eagles play a hoe hum game and still get the blowout. Of course Purdy getting hurt was huge, but you can't tell me that Purdy makes up for a 24 point deficit.
Eagles didn't have to grind out the win, and put their second string in in the 4th quarter which is ideal for them.
Jalen to the super bowl-nobody would have ever in their wildest dreams predicted that 4-6 years ago, but here we are. I want to see him, Devonta, Dickerson win it.

Dude we had Josh Johnson our 4th QB who came to the team in like week 10 and is barely a NFL QB and Brock Purdy not being able to throw the ball more than 5 yards. They had to choose at QB between Brock with no arm or McCaffrey on a bad hammy.
The Eagles deserve the win, but the 49ers had a a great shot if Purdy was healthy.
