There was a time when Shaun Alexander, Chris Samuels and Cornelius Griffin were pretty much Bama's NFL representation. Small in numbers, but 3 very good players. SA is still the only league MVP Seattle has ever had. Just crazy how quickly he fell off after that MVP season. Madden curse? I really thought he was going to be a Hall of Famer... just needed 1-2 more elite seasons that never happened.

It’s pretty common for RBs. So many great NFL RBs just from 2000-10 alone fell off after 2-3 great years

I have to give Mark Ingram props for his longevity. He's currently the NFL's all time rushing leader among active players...3x Pro Bowl. Not a future Hall of Famer, but a very good career for our first Heisman winner.
Such a pass happy league now. After Adrian Peterson (not currently on a team, but not officially retired) goes into the HOF, it looks like the only other current RB on the HOF radar is Derrick Henry.
