F Game on the grading scale and still WON while Texas played their best (A+) game and couldn't beat us...shuda, cuda, wuda don't mean anything. BAMA WON!!

This our second game of the season and everybody know that Alabama will get everybody's best shot regardless. What I will be paying attention to is how will Texas play from here on out. Will the quarterbacks be as efficient as they were vs Bama or will it be another Zach Calzada situation? Will their defense continue to play better or was it a one time thing like 2021 Texas A&M?

We got worked to do...

OC- He has to get better with schemes and using our speed in space. Communication

QB- Communication...See the field (Not Always About The Homerun Plays) and take what the defense gives you (Checkdowns)

RB- Footwork, Vision (Missed cut back lanes), & Pass Protection

Line- They need to get the right 5 on the field and let them gel.

WR- Blocking & Route Running

TE- Blocking

DC- Stop with these year long delayed blitz's. Use Chris Braswell

DE- Stay Aggressive

DL- Keep Progressing

LB- Coverage

Secondary- Coverage (Stop Holding/Play The Ball) & Communication

ST- Will Reichard (Stay Saucy), Gibbs (PR/KR), he needs the ball in his hands period.

Bryce Young & Will Anderson (The Leaders) both came up big in the clutch shoot neither played their best game but when it mattered the most they made plays to win it. Their motor just kept going which is what I love about both of them.

Then there's the real GOAT...WILL REICHARD

They lost their starting QB who was shredding us to injury and their backup played on 1 leg.

Okay! Like what does have to do with anything? Just because their QB's dinged up... the team still can't play their A+ game?

Card did the same thing Ewers was doing because Sark schemed us perfectly. Those QB's were on point but once again I'm a wait and see if this was another Zach Calzada/Stephen Garcia situation.

Texas made a ton of mistakes on offense. Looked to me like neither team really played well.

IIRC correctly we won a NC in a year when we played a game like this where we had to block 2 FGs to beat a not great Tennessee team who was 3-4 at the time.

I think we will be alright.

Card was nowhere near as effective nor did they throw the ball downfield in the same way.

Win is a win, but they moved up and down the field throwing the ball downfield with Ewers. Once Card came in everything shrunk for them and we took advantage of it.

We won, that's the most important thing.

Texas offense made a TON of mistakes? Nah, I think our defense force them into some.

They enjoyed a huge home field advantage. Their fans were extraordinarily loud.

Well heck SOG! If only Texas had Colt McCoy in 2009.

Ewers executed the game plan well but let's not act like they did anything special.

Card came in and executed the game plan well also but Golding made an adjustment in coverage.

PETE GOLDING made the necessary adjustment that SHRUNK the field.

Terrion Arnold played extremely well!

He was one of the reasons the field shrunk also.

The 2019 LSU team struggled with a Texas team with a worse coaching staff and won it all.

WR- Blocking & Route Running

I would consider adding, oh I don’t know, CATCHING to this list.

They have, if not the best - ONE of the best backs in the country. Dude is a beast. 57 yards. Dude was shut down.

In case no one told them.. QBs get hit in this league. Toughen up.

Bill O’Brien is a joke of a OC .. we almost lost several games last year due to his simple schemes and play calling.

We Only got away with it because of Bryce Young’s greatness.

We have almost no motion, no shifts to change the fronts, no misdirection, piss poor running scheme. We are winning on talent and only talent.

It’s what happened last year and it’s what has to happen this year. Because BoB ain’t changing. His unimaginative, not creative and calls plays with no rhythm or purpose.

Sark is one of the best offensive schemers and they scored 19 points. 19. I will take it
