Bama beats a talented #13 team 52-24 (gifted them 14 1st half points due to mental errors) and some of y'all bitch incessantly through the entire fricking game.

To add to that, we discovered another corner that can shut down his receiver. Malachi is is gonna be a good one and our linebackers cover a lot of ground. We gotta shot at being really good.

It was our second game. Yes we've got some things we need to improve, but we just beat the shite out of a good team. I'm happy!

I think if we could just communicate properly we could be so much better defensively. But it's always the same type of issues. If a team makes a play against bama. Hats off. But they're a lot of freebies currently

I love our offense!!! The defense has elite talent no doubt about it. Missed assignments and absolutely horrendous on 3rd down is what is frustrating. Has to be the coaching ??

Look at the mix of in game experience. Senior middle LBs barking changes pre-snap...the younger guys have to process it on the fly. We have talented freshmen that just need to get the reps in LIVE game situations.

I’m not gonna lie - I’m pretty disappointed in the defense, and I hate to beat the dead horse, but specifically Golding. I will say that most seem to forget how young we are on the back end of the defense.

A lot of that “wide open middle of the field” everyone was complaining about we’re busted coverages from first year players.

On the flip side, Golding most definitely puts these players in a bad position to make plays with some of his bullshite play calls. The dude has the worst understanding of matchups/mismatches I’ve ever seen and he has not shown any improvement for 3 years.

The truth is we can't get pressure with a dominant front 4 and when everyone spreads the field now you can't blitz. So we play soft until the field shortens.

Bend but don't break, get used to it

Delayed blitzes leaving the middle of the field open works about 10% of the time

Ole Miss pulls out the win against Kentucky. They’ll be confident going into next week.

I'm confident Bama can put 80 plus on that Ole Miss defense

I actually don’t think the D-Line was that bad. 92, 58 and 47 moved the pocket. DJ Dale is no DaRon Payne that is for sure. I think we would really benefit more from dropping more into coverage and not blitzing 32 and 8 up the middle every 3rd down.

Mond just didn’t have to make very tough decisions so he could get the ball out quickly over the middle since 32 and 8 were ineffective blitzing. When we dropped them and made Mond hold on to the ball a second or two longer, The D-Line did a decent job making him make a rushed ill advised pass.

Because we have incredible athletes on offense again, some of which would get significant playing time on Sunday’s THIS year.

It will all go to waste again because our defense looks atrocious again.

Nobody in the secondary ever looked like they had a clue what they were doing. Most of Mond’s completions were uncontested.

The reason the 1’s stayed on the field so long is for style points because it’s pretty much guaranteed we’ll be 9-1 or 8-2 at the end of the year.

Haha it really doesn’t make a shite to me what this team ends up doing. But anybody thinking the product on defense today is going to get us a championship this year has short term memory loss.

Only been following Alabama football since 1992 and graduated in 2009.

I’m just tired of having a soft arse defense. I miss the days not so long ago when the other team had 2nd and 20, they were getting their punt team ready. Now when the other team has 2nd and 20 we just try to hold on for dear life and hope we don’t frick anything up too bad.

I am no Golding fan but I do care and I think the offense is good enough and we have enough talent on defense to counter the bad
