Practice video of Eyabi Anoma. This kid is quick. Damn

He's going to be a beast. I don't see how he doesn't get on the field this year, at least on 3rd downs. Already 245 with room to grow on that frame and he's got great athleticism. He and Lewis both are guys that you just look at when Alabama takes the field and you think it's a pro team.

Damn, gotta hate it that his career keeps getting slowed down by these injuries. It doesn't hurt us overall considering Harris the Elder and Harris the Younger were probably getting the bulk anyway, but I definitely expected Jacobs to see plenty of touches, including receptions. Definitely sucks to have him miss any time.

We need him for the change of pace he brings. He was crucial in the Miss. St game.

I watched his HS film and knew he would get on the field in a hurry. He's a freakish athlete. His tape reminds you of how dominant Reuben Foster was in HS, only DL is a much simpler position to learn

Charlie Potter (BOL) - "Jacobs missed all of spring after undergoing ankle surgery. He was out there and in shoulder pads, just not doing much."

ETA: It sounds like he might just be easing back into practicing instead of sufferring a reinjury.

Crossing my fingers that Anoma is going to dominate as a true freshman. If he is a quick learner then he could come in on third and long like a sophomore Tim Williams did and wreak havoc on the quarterback.

Anoma will push hard to get on the field. He is highly self motivated, and relentless. If he stays healthy we will see him.

Miller and jennings looked even quicker in that video IMO...which say a lot about those because Anoma is really quick!! RTR!!

Even with Lewis out, we are in good good shape at OLB with Jennings, Miller, Mosley, Allen, Anoma and Latu (not to mention Parks who looks the part.)

We just need to stay healthy at ILB. And Josh Jacobs...holy cow. Have we ever had a player who stayed injured constantly as much as Jacobs? Kid needs to start eating spinach or something.

It also helps that Anoma isn't quadriplegia waiting to happen any time he tackles someone.
