I think the staff was only looking at Markel Boston or the other explosive kid before him IF Chris Williams didn't qualify or flipped. I make this assumption considering we went cold on him the day Chris Williams solidified his commitment to us.

Want to know one of the reason I don't put much faith into these "insiders"??

Why is it none are commenting now? Why is it their comments usually only come after we get new information (BOL, Rivals, TI) or after interviews? None even came out before BOL to say we weren't getting Boston, the impact that would have, etc..

My thing is if you're an insider you know what is going on right now, our misses, hits and new ambitions... and not only after certain sources release it.

Yeah. That kid is dynamite. He is like a safety Leo Lewis.

He's a beast. Really hope we can flip him from Missouri.

Genuine "insiders" who can speak authoritatively about a wide range of recruits are next to impossible to find, as far as I can tell. You might have a source in the department, but s/he is only going to tell you how things look. Media sources are even less-reliable, and they'll be sharing whatever information they get anyway -- it's their job. The only consistently reliable insiders would be people who are actually close to a given recruit...and, excepting other recruits who see them a few times a year at camps, there's just no way a given "insider" is going to be in the confidences of lots of high-level recruits over multiple years. So whenever I hear "insider," I pretty much interpret that as "someone who follows recruiting more closely than I do and is passing along information I didn't happen to catch myself."

Tough to say. Has decent stats in high school. Had 6 catches in 6 games for GMC but 20 ypc and 5 went for TDs. TFS at H-back and OJ at TE could be a good duo

Didn't see this posted in the last 5 pages so sorry if it is old hat.

If he [Markell Boston] gets an offer before signing day, then Rashaan Evans is going to Alabama or UCLA.

-Justin Hokansan, AU Rivals writer

In light of todays events I find this interesting.

TFS had an ankle injury that limited his playing time last season. GMC also rushed for over 3,500 yards in 12 games while going 11-1.

Here are his highlights: Highlights

GMC?

And what are TFS measurables? He looks more like a WR to me.
