Seems like Chad Thomas visit to FSU was just okay. Hopefully we can roll out the red carpet and blow him away.

I think he is thinking about flipping but is on the fence because his grandpa who passed away wanted him to play for Miami. If we can pull out all the stops and have him make some friends on our squad who knows what will happen?

Could be the surprise like A'Shawn last year.

I wonder if we will ever have book-ends who are both drafted in the 1st round again.

Has any new information come out about this weekends visits or Our current position with Elam, Evans or Thomas after there visits this weekend. I know Elam is announcing on Thursday?

Nothing really. Some Aubies think Evans isn't considering us anymore. Chad Thomas didn't seem too impressed with his FSU visit (or maybe he is keeping things close to him?) and some here feel Elam doesn't pick us, but I think he does.

Thats cause they are stupid. He said after his visit to UCLA there may only be two hats on the table. They took that somehow to mean we would be dropped.

That doesn't sound great.

Just a pic of Ricky Town when he was in the 5th grade with Matt Barkley.

Read that last night. Doesn't sound like he's bonded with Bama players.

I wouldn't read too much into it. He was with almost 15 of our commitments and EEs during his OV. Not to mention that he was hosted by Ruben.

We just didn't feel the need to bombard him with Juniors and Seniors. We also didn't feel the need to send our entire defensive staff to his house either.

The facts are 90% of our class is out of state and it would have been very difficult to have other players take unofficials. I think Reuben Foster can help us a lot over the next week but it is clear that Kirby's visit later this week will be very crutical. Does anyone know if we visit Elam again before Thursday?

I wouldn't read too much into it, Bama friends. I'm sure Saban had a current player as his host and that player likely had other current players hanging around him. It kinda makes you wonder about the question that was asked to lead to that statement.

Of course, I don't know the ins & outs of this kid's recruitment but on the SECrb I saw a quote from his dad that said position in college and getting him to the nfl was important. If that's the case, I don't care what AU fans say about the Star position, it doesn't translate to the NFL like LB at Bama (unless someone can find a "Star" position trend from Johnson's past stops that indicates he puts those guys in the league at the pace you guys put LBs in the league)
