Odd there was a link on the recruiting board on Tiger rant rb That did not list him as committed to Alabama.

So i was looking at UGA247 site and they listed the following candidates as possible coaching hires: Lance Thompson, Kevin Steele, and Chris Rumph.

It would suck to lose Thompson as a recruiter even though his on field coaching leaves a lot to be desired. Steele wood be strange for him to leave after turning down the Louisville DC job. Rumph would suck because it would put them right back in it with Christian Miller. Thoughts?

FTR I think the most likely of those to happen is Rumph and maybe Thompson. Could obviously very easily be none of those 3

Check this shite out:

Bama has three of the top ten in the Composite Rankings, and if we get Marlon, 5 of the top 14 thanks to Bo.

@TimWatts_BOL: Dead period ended today and 1st recruit Lane Kiffin sees is AU recruit Roc Thomas. As if recruiting wasn't real enough. Here we go. #Bama

I'm not sure we have much of a shot at flipping him to be honest. Wouldn't mind being wrong.

I don't think we do either. You can only slow play a kid so long before he gets the message that he's not a priority.

Steele's not going anywhere. Rumph just took the Texas job so I highly doubt he would leave for Georgia. I think Lance likes working for Saban.

I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm liking this Tavon Ross kid. He fricking trucked some poor QB on a Pick 6.

Fansided reports: Steele to take over the linebackers

To make room for Steele on the sidelines, Alabama defensive backs’ coach Greg Brown is stepping down and defensive coordinator Kirby Smart will go from working with the linebackers to the defensive backs in order for Steele to take over the linebackers, moving on from his role as director of player personnel.

-Kirby is visiting Rashaan Evans and Christian Miller today. Please sweet baby Jesus let us land both of these guys.
-Gus Malzahn is taking his in-home visit with Evans tonight. I guess that means Saban will get the last crack at him since he hasn't used his yet.
-Lance is visiting Matt Elam today.
-Cristobal will be in Miami visiting Chad Thomas and 2015 big time TE Devonaire Clarington.
-Bo Davis and Billy Napier will visit Josh Frazier today.

I just finished watching all of Tavon Ross' highlights and I want this kid. He is a hell of a player.

I know he is ranked low, but recruiting services have been known to low ball a recruit's ranking if he has bad grades. If his grades are in order I hope we offer him.

Beast.

He's fast too. Looks well built. Good ball skills. Perfect for a safety.
