That he is not coming to Alabama, and that he was never a "realistic possibility."

I don't want Marion Hobby either. He was the D-Line coach for the Saints a few years ago. Oddly enough, he was replaced by Ed Orgeron.

Shoulda kept your arse in Columbus then. We'd be celebrating a 3-peat if it weren't for you.

To be fair, him getting out of Columbus was probably the best thing for him.

I believed he might've np been early Sun Morning until talking with another poster I highly respect (credit to Magilla on this) that it is highly likely he wasn't and now this from Lucky confirms it. Again like I said I thought he was but in this day of digital info it would've been hard to hide without the news getting A LOT bigger.

I believe he was certainly contacted and likely might still be (since he still hasn't been hired) on the other end in case Kirby goes to UGA, he could come in possibly as DC but it would vp certainly behoove him to wait till all the dominoes fall because a HC job offer is possibly in his future.

I apologize if any of you got the impression from any of my posts that he was a done deal or coming or even visiting yesterday

Now on to the other news, I was driving my daughter in to Pre-K this morning and heard an interview (wasn't sure if it was this morning or not) Finebaum had with Colin Cowherd about the LK hire and he was extremely positive saying that Bama stole him away from a WC team and he could likely be the barest OC Saban has had at Bama, got me VERY excited I'm gonna try and find this morning so I can link

I highly doubt Kirby goes to Georgia.

I think we either hire Chris Wilson or (based again on internet rumors) LSU DL coach Brick Haley.

As I said earlier, I really don't want Marion Hobby.

The Georgia fans on this site seem to think Wilson would be a good hire for us.

I'd rather him go to the NFL than Tallahassee.

Ifn these days of rumors, we are hearing that Vinnie Sunseri wants to leave Alabama. He may want to go to Florida State, where his father, Sal Sunseri, is an assistant coach and his former Bama position coach, Jeremy Pruitt, is defensive coordinator. FSU is no doubt feeling its oats with its recent national championship.

Or he may want to enter the NFL draft. Players have until Wednesday to declare for the draft.

Vinnie must be really convinced he can't get back at SS past Collins, and that jarrick, Perry, or geno would start over him at FS, and he is most likely right. Also, my phone tried to change vinnie to bunnies and geno to genocide
