Kiffen, Bama and Saban all win.
Kiffen will get first hand knowledge how to run a program.
Saban & Bama get a great OC who will have his sourpus face in the booth.
CNS & BAMA will probably get a few recruits from the California hot bed of L.A.

I wonder if this could help us with JuJu or is that wishful thinking? I know Orgeron had relationships with all the guys, but Kiffen couldn't hurt.

Looking ahead, Daron Payne in next year's class. He's from the Bham area. Goes to Shades Valley. Big kid. Around 330lbs, listed as a DT. Anyone like our early chances with him?

I know his coach. I was his temp replacement when he left his old job to be the coach at Shades Valley. Teaching not coaching duties. Anyway me and coach still keep in touch. He played ball at Alabama in the 90s in fact. Daron grew up an Auburn fan but coach is a big influence. He only got noticed because his coach encouraged him to camp. I don't know where he goes but like the Crystal Ball I have to think Alabama. Coach isn't going to pressure him. Could be a true beast at one of DE spots. (the one that is a two gap DT in reality).

When I heard Nuss was leaving, this was the next thing that came to my mind.
DO NOT WANT to loss Ricky Town. Nuss > McElwain, but let's be serious Lane Kiffin >>>>> Nuss. However Ricky Town had an amazing relationship with Nuss which he highlighted as being paramount to him committing to us early on.
I don't know Ricky Town's relationship with Lane Kiffin, but hopefully Lane can salvage this thing and keep this generational QB at Bama.
Oh and if you aren't excited about Lane Kiffin being our new OC, you need to get your head checked.
This is BIG TIME. He will be kept on a leash by Saban. He will be a recruiting monster for us and our offense is going to be awesome. I can't wait.

Could you guys imagine everything going our way and going from AJ to Coker to Cornwell to Town? Unlikely it happens, transfers and what not, but we can hold out hope.
