Alabama coach Nick Saban and Tide assistant Kirby Smart visited McMillan on Thursday as expected. Urban Meyer makes his in-home visit on Sunday and then McMillan announces his decision on Monday at 12 noon EST - nothing has changed with all of that. Also visiting McMillan on Sunday will be Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn who makes his visit at noon before Meyer comes in later in the day. In talking to a source in the South, Malzahn would have to hit a home run for McMillan to end up at Auburn. But with the job Auburn assistant coach Ellis Johnson does on the recruiting trail, the Tigers can’t be counted out which I said when I first had the news that McMillan was being pursued hard by Johnson and would make an official visit to Auburn rather than Florida.

A source high up the chain told me today that Alabama may have forged into the lead – at least for now.

“With (linebacker) C.J. Mosely going to the NFL after this season and with Nick Saban staying put (at Alabama), plus the distance thing and staying in the South, it is looking better for Alabama,” the source said.

The source also was not high on Clemson’s chances. All of this fits in with what Liberty County coach Kirk Warner told Charles Power of BamaOnLine after Saban was at his school on Thursday.

"Of course, he likes (Alabama). He's kind of honed in on his top two with Ohio State and Alabama in no particular order. And Auburn's obviously made an impression, because he granted them an in-home.”

Meyer and company are hoping this one is Vonn Bell all over again. Meyer and the OSU staff did not know Bell had picked Ohio State until he actually made his public announcement. I have been told McMillan is not planning to tell any of the coaches what his decision is until he actually makes his announcement on Monday.

Cornwell
CRob
Hootie
Fournette
Travis Rudolph
Brian Wallace
Tabor

Those are the ones taking their OV. CJ Hampton has said he was gonna stop by after the MS-AL game. I haven't seen a list of unofficial visitors yet.

Zach Whitley will also take his OV to TTown this weekend. Then get ready for his allstar game and report to UA as an EE.

If we get McMillan, this linebacker haul would be sick

Now if we can only get some corners, then this class would meet all of our needs.

Did Saban visit? I thought I read it was just Kirby. I was wondering at the time if Saban didn't visit if he was really a priority for us.

Johnnie Dixon, four-star wide receiver from Dwyer High School in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., will play in the state championship this evening. There is speculation he might announce his decision after the game. He is expected to announce very soon regardless. Coach Saban and Coach Williams met with Dixon on Thursday. Those close to Dixon believe it's a surprise if he does not commit to Miami.

Is Coker supposed to graduate in May or this December? Last thread I read about him on BOL was divided between Dec and May. Some said he isnt going to have the credits honored by FSU or some shite, so he wouldnt grad until May and therefore wouldnt be in Ttown for spring camp. Anyone have any solid info on this?

Jay Barker doesn't have time for actual research for what comes out of his mouth. He's too busy running a orphanage with Sarah Evans. What is it? 12 kids?

Reading OM 247 and it looks like the OM side is hearing good things about Hampton staying with them. He has told some OM commits that he is staying with his commitment. Who knows? Why is MS such a pain in the arse to recruit?

I really ought to pray about how much hate I have for Jeremy Pruitt.

Little bastard.

They're all guilted into staying home, even when neither school hasn't don't jack since JFK was in office. The only part of the state we've has success in is south Mississippi.

I wouldn't hate him for long. If Kirby becomes HC in the near future he may look into Pruitt for DC.

The only people who don't hate the Pruitts are those that don't know them very well.
