I haven't read anything on BOL about Andrew Brown and us, however the poster which posted Bone info before Alahunter took it down (yeah I saw it
) had some stuff about us attempting to reach out to both Andrew Brown and Blanding but them not really taking the bait. Andrew Brown is an EE, so we have to move fast. Most likely too late.
I just don't get why a kid that talented is throwing it away going to a London coached team. They are bad on the scoreboard, in organization and with their technique. I'm not saying he has to come here, but at least go somewhere they will get the best out of you. Shocking he visited VaTech, the committed to UVA and Mike London shortly after. If he wanted to stay at home VaTech is a much, much, much better fit.
Anyways, I think this kid is damn good and with the right coaching could be monstrous.

Actually there is a difference; I don't say a kid has to go to Bama. Never said Andrew Brown had to come here, but I don't know why he is going to a Mike London coached team. He has better options.
In some cases I think you mean well, but you don't communicate effectively.

Basically that he played like crap and cost them the game.

Mike London won't be coaching there much longer. 1 more season at the most. The thing with London is that he's a shitty coach but has extremely deep ties in Hampton Roads and Richmond. Whatever school he coaches at will always get players from there.
In Brown's case, UVA's a much better school and is two hours and change closer to his home. VT's a pretty significant haul from the beach. It makes some sense. IIRC, he has a family member that isn't in the best of health, but I may be thinking of someone else.

Brown's a DT. London was a DL coach as a younger coach.
