I agree. I don't think we get Carter. I think maybe the coaching staff at Norcross may have soured with all the crap surrounding Kamara. Still good to keep those doors open because you never know.

I always thought one of the keys for landing Zo would be for Hubbard (played at Norcross, same position and body type as Zo) to really blow up this year and make a name for himself as an elite pass rusher. Not that I was expecting that to happen but I was hoping.

Short interview of Hand, after the commitment. The second video is the one of him calling out the other recruits.

Funny shite, he was making a run to Wendy's and called all three coaches

What effect do y'all think the Jameis stuff might have on the predicted transfer of Coker? If it turns out to have legs (I'm guessing not, but stranger things have happened,) that could thrust Coker into the starting role at FSU. I'm not entirely clear on his supposed motivations -- does he have a genuine affection for Bama or is he just looking to escape Jameis' shadow? -- but it does seem like a potential complication.

Heck 89% of the insiders didn't know what the hell they were talking about either . Even his own family didn't know until today if you can believe the vids posted earlier.

Oh, recruiting. Just when you think you've figured it out, left field commits happen. Never dull.

I just need to start posting cryptically and leaving my posts open to several interpretations.

Remember, recruiting is very fluid, so what I just told you could be wrong by the morning.

Coker also has a torn meniscus, so he would not be immediately stepping up for Winston anyway. I've seen where some have said 4-6 week recovery. So he is not an option for them short term. Long term, who knows? I don't think this Winston stuff would drag out that long, but stranger things have happened.

If it has legs, though, we're talking criminal charges and a distinct likelihood he wouldn't be back for FSU next year. When does Coker decide about the transfer? Would he be coming in the spring or the summer?

I've heard everything from Dec graduate to May. No clear cut answers oddly enough. Maybe someone else knows. If May, he'd miss out on spring practice, but could come in time for summer workouts and fall camp.

On the Hampton front, BOL confirmed with his dad two hours ago that he will be in Bama for his OV during the chatt game.

Some dude put this on BOL (never seen him post before):

quote:

Just got off the phone with one of my biggest

inside sources, get ready boys we will have

a shocking commitment, I mean SHOCKING

within the month. I'm not going to release his

name due to respect or not stealing his

thunder. Side notes: 1. Marlon Humphrey will

be in crimson next year 2. Despite all the

rumors and crystal ball predictions, Lorenzo

Carter has stated Bama is still his leader

even after the Hand commitment. 3. Matt

Elam will be in Crimson next year. His official

visit solidified it. 4. Jabrill Peppers is strongly

considering the tide and joining Hand with

the guys in crimson 5. Leonard Fournette is

50/50 at the moment with the major factor

being immediate playing time. If I had to

guess he's going to LSU but it's a toss up

similar to Hand. Bama is really making a

push for this stud. RTR guys

Yes. That is exactly how he posted it.

Hell. I'll go ahead and post everything that he said in the thread:

quote:

bamadarren said...

so this shocking commitment is not someone you mentioned in your side notes.

I don't want to steal any thunder but one was mentioned another not

I guess he was responding to a question about a timeframe for the surprise commitment:

quote:

Early December my brethren

quote:

I have a low post count yes, but this thread would be terminated if I told you my source. Trust me I'm legit

quote:

My source is of high power as some of y'all know so I cannot release the name. But to clarify on Carter, as of "today" Alabama is the favorite subject to change but the surprise y'all are going to enjoy ;)

This was in the thread too:

quote:

BuccWildBammer... is that you?

quote:

Jlee05 said...

he's trying to say one of those is his guess to your shocking commitment prediction

question - will he set up an announcement or will this come randomly?

He hasn't decided yet. He is on the shy side to say the least.

Just trying to give my input with my inside source but go ahead believe I'm full of **** it's your call. Y'all have a great day
