Granted to be fair Bone being adamant means the number is like 69 as much as it is 25. Bone is such a tool, I don't like they basically downgraded Suttles just to bring Bone over from the sinking ship known as Scout.

Mama is bigger and has a little better technique but Casher is more mauler to me especially inside, they have differing styles so hard to compare

He will make Auburn pay for telling him no

Not sure how reliable this guy's information is, but

Welp. Looks like our QB issues for next year may not be so bad after all. I hope he comes and takes the job during the Spring. Really don't want to go into Fall camp without a clear cut #1 next year. I know it didn't hurt us in 2011 when AJ won the job in August, but I want a bonafide starter going into that West Virginia game.
I'm selfish. DWI.

If true
I think he will give our offense a different dimension with his running ability.

More on Matt Elam:
What kind of douchebag says something like that?
Was the arse pounding in the BCSNC Game not enough for them?
This kid gets it.

Another factor that helped the Irish was how they plan to use Elam as a freshman. With the impending departure of nose guard mainstay Louis Nix, Brian Kelly and his Notre Dame staff have been hammering home to Elam the opportunity to play right away.
“Louis Nix will be leaving and they say that’s the perfect opportunity to come in and start as a true freshman because they have nobody,” he said. “They say a lot of places you’re going to go like Alabama they have those five-star players and you’ve got to battle every day. I told him that would just make me better and he was like well, you can come here and you can start. He said there’s no competition. It’s all you. It’s all your choice if you want to get better.”

Right now though, Elam says it’s all even among his top three. Alabama, despite its national championships and undefeated record, has another factor that bodes well for Nick Saban.
“I would def say they’re probably the best relationship I have through all the colleges,” said the defensive tackle of Alabama. “Me and Coach (Lance) Thompson we talk about every day and me and Coach Saban we talk about every other week. I talked to Coach Saban last night. That was a good conversation.”
quote:
“Home state that gets to me just that I can change the program to something better than just a 1-6 program, because they need great players to become a great team. It starts with instate players like me and Drew (Barker) so that’s a great pitch they’re throwing me right now. Then again I want to go to a program that wins because I’m a winner at heart and Alabama is def a winning tradition and program so that’d be a great place to go to.”
While the rest of his visit schedule is still in flux, Elam does plan on taking an unofficial visit to Tuscaloosa to see Alabama play LSU. Kentucky has indicated that December 14 is when they’d like to get him on campus for an official while Alabama has asked him to keep the second week of December available for an official.
Elam’s final decision will come in San Antonio at the Army Bowl.
This kid gets it.

I think we all knew this was coming.
I like Coker. Big arm, athletic, in state guy. Seems to have it right between the ears. With the weapons we have, he'll have to earn Saban's trust, but I could see us opening up the offense with him more than we did in 09/11 with new starters.

Kid is big as hell. Can move too. Saw some FSU guys say he is more athletic than Winston.

He's certainly got size. Should be interesting to see what we could do with his athleticism, assuming he comes of course.

He was an all-district basketball player at St. Paul's. #ComeHomeCoker

We're gonna lose some QBs if he does come, most likely Morris and Parker if I had to guess.

Coker would probably beat Winston in a foot race. He's every bit the athlete as Jameis, that's not getting carried away. Jameis is a better quarterback at this point, yes...but Coker is every bit the athlete

I saw that. It may be weak to him due to them not taking any O-Lineman, but top to bottom this class is ridiculous.
Next year, not so much.

That thread was filled with the lulz. Our stats are better so we are better!!!1!!! Never mind the fact that we have had to put our backups in early in almost every game.
