Does anyone know if they changed the rules concerning coaches publicly discussing recruits before they sign? Seems several coaches most notably Bielema are pushing the boundaries.
They haven't changed anything, but they are only secondary violations so the boundaries will continue to be pushed.
Bielema is on a whole new level of herp derp though.

To bring it back to recruiting, supposedly there are people telling Hootie that CNS will be at UTx next year and it's giving him pause. It could be completely untrue and still impact his decision since he has to make his decision before the rumor can be completely disproven.
Not surprising. He doesn't have to decide on November 25th. I'm sure he'll know one way or the other before he enrolls in school.

Would not mind Pettway coming back if he has the right attitude. Looks like he will have opportunities to go to some good schools and if Saban allows him back and he comes back to set things right i would respect that far more than running from your past (which is how i live).

He's certainly been speaking out of both sides of his mouth today. He got called out on it over in the Hootie thread.

Agreed. I always thought he was the one who's punishment didn't fit the crime (he didn't actually hit anyone, he was just there with them.)

bullshite..the douche is talking out of both sides of his mouth and playing nice over here just to act important enough to post here. Even LSU fans are calling his bullshite. I believe I will take Cecil Hurt's opinion on Saban to Texas over Redfield's "inside source" . And he says Saban to Texas will never happen.

Pretty sure he was joking.

He doesnt have an inside source. He reads UT message boards.
I also bet he catches a ban for admitting to trolling the LSU RB.

It's funny how desperate they are when they'll believe anyone who will tell them what they want to hear.
We should make up stories with sources about how Saban is going to Texas and watch them lap it up, get all excited; eyes filled with hope.

Four-star cornerback Jalen Tabor (Washington, D.C./Friendship Collegiate) will enroll early. That means he’s trying to take official visits to his four finalists between now and January before he announces at the Under Armour All-America Game. Tabor has been scheduled take one to Arizona on the weekend of Dec. 13 and one to Florida on the weekend of Nov. 30. He’s still unsure of the dates for the Maryland and Alabama officials. Those are the two schools on top right now. Word, per sources, is that the Terrapins feel real confident in this situation.
That would certainly lessen the "blow" of Roberts flipping.

FWIW
@rivalsmike: From what I hear so far, #Bama has closed the gap considerably for Da'Shawn Hand. We'll see how the visit sits for a little while.

I don't think it's an issue of us leading for him, more like would we take him.

Another article on Tabor said that he wants to see the ins and outs of the program including TV exposure, if NFL scouts visit, and how is the competition. Those things seem to work in Bama's favor.
He also said that he is feeling a lot of pressure to attend Maryland. He then went on to talk about the coaches there wanting him to play for the home team and make them good again. What I found interesting is that he had at least one positive thing to say about each program except for Maryland.
Arizona- an up and coming program; he can lead them to a rose bowl.
Florida- wants to play in the swamp, has a lot of good players.
Alabama- "phenomenal", likes the staff, "nothing bad about them", best in the SEC
I know I am reading into this, but it gave me more hope for landing him than I had a week ago.
