Didnt stop me from posting in last years megathread.
I actually really pissed off my friend who is a huge Michigan fan. I was laughing at how awesome the beatdown was. He wouldn't talk to me for the rest of the night.
I think its because last years cruits were epic assholes.

I think they were just more exciting early. Nkemdiche was "ours" and had an awesome name. Foster was ours and was the "best linebacker in a decade". Not to mention Jon Allen and the qb search

Like, this year, I'm only excited about Cornwell, Humphrey, Luatua, and my man Ermon Lane. Everybody else I either don't care (Shaun Dion) or can't get excited about yet because it's too long a road (Cam Robinson, DeShawn Hand, the Cali kids, bunch more)

I kind of thought the new 25 per class rule would cut back on the drawn out recruitments, but it seems like this year the vast majority of them are going to stretch out the attention until NSD or beyond.

I thought Collins was coming to Bama the entire time. Fournette isnt, but he will be a fun trolling tool.

I think there is a severe pickiness to this class, one where they only take 22-23 of what they need and don't settle until they absolutely have to. I think that's why 2 Junior Days yielded no '14 commits, where Bama could have easily landed 2-3.
They are pretty much heavily in every state right now, so I doubt the class fills up very fast.

I'm surprised someone hasn't brought over the fact that Coach Burns' daughter is the director of communications at Fournette's HS yet, just for shits in the SECrb thread.

I never thought Landon would be at Bama until he announced. And I was crazy happy when he did. So that's how I play them now. LF definitely isn't coming though. I'd bet on it

'14 FL LB Dillon Bates has been offered by Saban.
Bates is the son of Dallas Cowboys' Bill Bates, and he has really shown out in coverage at some recent 7-on-7s/combines.

Understandable. It's just hard to see him beating Morris and Bateman in 2014. He really has to beat out Morris this year, and from all accounts it appears that that will be really difficult.
