I'm told we like Luatua as a LB and want him to camp in order to figure out his best fit. He is al excellent route runner and can catch but he's not a fast guy like Howard. He has a mean streak too, he certainly looks like a defensive guy to me on film .

Not sure people ever confused him with Howard. Luatua is a traditional inline blocker type on offense, Howard will spend a lot of time motioned in the Y.
Now on the other hand, both could be excellent defenders. Howard will never see a single snap on defense, but he was actually in front of Foster at LB on ESPN RISE team before their senior years. He's got the size, speed, and actually was pretty impactful on defense for AA(even though he expressed he had little desire to play such past HS).
