I think LF is a bit overrated, Roc is vastly underrated mho

SERIOUSLY little difference on film when you watch Fournette and compare him to Yeldon

We are fine at RB, Roc commits soon and let everyone else have RBs elsewhere we hogged 'em in this year's signing class

If Fournette doesn't go to Bama I'd love to see him at FSU. LSU fans would melt and we would never have to play against him unless FSU fires Jimbo and hires someone with a clue in the next year or two.

I really hope we can get Peppers, but I feel Stanford may be too much to overcome. Wow, never thought I would say that.

Kalvarez Bessent news:

quote:

Kingsland (Ga.) Camden County cornerback Kalvaraz Bessent is among the hottest prospects in the state of Georgia as of late. The 5-foot-11.5, 170-pounder was offered by four of the top programs in the Southeastern Conference in a nine day span, beginning with an offer from Alabama on National Signing Day.

quote:

Bessent , who has a grade of 93 from 247Sports, ranks as the nation’s no. 109 overall prospect and no. 7 rising senior in the state of Georgia. He is originally from Jacksonville, Florida and grew up with five-star linebacker Kain Daub.

Bessent will be at Junior Day this weekend.

Charles Mosley news:

quote:

The junior lineman from Brighton (Tenn.) High School, who’s expected to be one of the state’s top prospects in the 2014 class, said he was pleasantly surprised to get an offer from new Vols coach Butch Jones’ staff Saturday during Tennessee’s junior day.

quote:

Mosley admitted Alabama remains at the top of his list for now, but he said that’s mainly because he’s more familiar with the Crimson Tide at this point because of his multiple trips to Tuscaloosa, Ala.

He says he will not commit anywhere until the end of his Senior season.

I assume he is referencing Andrew Luck, Greg Taboada, and that LBer from GA a few classes ago.

All guys that some thought were headed to UA, but ended up in Palo Alto.

If we do hire Cristobal maybe we can get in on Kc McDermott. He has Miami and ND in his top 2 at the moment.

I would think it opens the door for several so Fla prospects as well as adding a coach with an established rep and camraderie with hundreds of Fla HSs

It is a homerun hire to say the absolute least if he accepts

He's got some ties to the Northeast as well from his tenure with Rutgers.

Definitely a solid replacement for Stoutland.

@JFowlerCBS: #Alabama is hiring Mario Cristobal as O-line coach, per source. He's in Tuscaloosa today to finalize deal.
