The point is, you don’t publicly bash a rookie 8 games into the season. Guide him and help him get better. It would be different if he played for a team that was at least .500 on the season. They’re what? 1-7? The rest of the team is sucking as well

Funny, how they use that as evidence that they're talking about Sexton when the beloved Cedi Osman is posting a 93 offensive rating. They're rookies 9 games into the season. Of course they need to learn how to play better. Every rookie that isn't a top 2 or 3 draft pick is a bad NBA player their first year with very rare exceptions.

I've read a few articles and I think the headlines don't match the tone of what the vets are saying. It sounds like they are just saying the transition from CBB focal point do everything guy to NBA rookie / team player is harder than hoped

Drew Timme retweeted an article that said Bama wasn’t in his top 5. Guess we can give up on him now.

EDIT: This is incorrect now. After I quoted that tweet and said Alabama was out of it, I guess either Drew or whoever wrote that article noticed that it was a mistake. The article was updated to include Bama in the top 5

I read another article that said it was gonna be between Gonzaga and Alabama and said A&M was out. I doubt anyone knows but I am not counting on itm

Interesting. I’ve always felt like it was really between the Zags and Aggies.
I’ll still assume he’s going to Gonzaga, but what a shot of adrenaline it would be for the program if he were to commit to us.

Well he was the perfect Gonzaga candidate so not so surprising. When I read Gonzaga was one of the favorites knew we had no chance. Think only TAMU could have pulled him away from the Zags.
