We have a lot of big men as of now, but we’re gonna need more. Donta graduates, Giddens has been useless, Reese isn’t physical like Hall and Giddens, and Javian is overweight. Smith is the only one I’m excited about for next year. Timme could come in next year and possibly start or be the backup. He’d get plenty of playing time

We were recruiting somebody down here year or two ago. Cannot remember his name, but saw it on the list. Believe he was a ‘19 or ‘20 recruit. There are some good players. More players than coaches to develop them.

EDIT: finding an upgrade at punter is still my #1 priority though!

More or less. Work is hard to find since everything is so regulated. You almost have to be government certified in your field. It’s not like the States where you can get a degree in something and work in a completely different field.

You just cannot beat the climate down here and the food is outstanding. I live on watermelon and mangoes. Plus with the usd being so strong right now I can feed my whole family for about $14.50. That’s nice.

It’s more personal preference. I like small ball and using 3’s as 4’s. That way you don’t need as many bigs on the roster.

With that said though I would like to see us fit in a rim protector somehow. I’m already missing Hall. Wish we could have him for another 4 years. He’s been so much fun to watch.

He was going against Trae Young right? How did Young do?

Young did very well (very efficient 24 pts), but most of the times he scored was when someone else was guarding him or Collin was screened.

From LSU recruiting board:

quote:

Said it before again will say huge weekend for Tiger basketball, Trendon Watford is on his official visit think we land him because of Armstrong.

Our class will be

PG Bishop 6'2 (Baltimore, MD) 3* should be 4
Wing Charles Manning 6'6 (JUCO, Florida) JUCO 3*
Wing Lester Quinones 6'5 (IMG Bradenton, FL)
F Trendon Watford 6'9 (Birmingham, AL) 5*
C Khadim Sy 6'10 (JUCO, FL) 3* should be 4*

For those that have not followed Trendon Watford out of Birmingham is on an official this weekend for LSU-Bama it is I would say a dead even three way race between us Bama and Memphis. I think we pull it out in the end, great kid that will be the guy for this class. Quinones is the glue guy that will play immediately. Top 20 class only because of the JUCO guys but they all fill needs and we are looking at a strong 2019-2020 squad.

Any time a poster says one of their recruits "should be" a higher star you know they're just being a homer

Like this guy knows better than 100s of scouts and recruiting analysts what star rating a guy should have.

There are two exceptions to this

- Recruiting service people have hinted "they may move up" etc (e.g Myles Garrett)

- Player is at risk of not qualifying/offcourt issues (e.g Danjel Purifoy went from top 20 to outside top 50)

Even then there are better ways to phrase it- "May move up to a four star soon" for #1 and "4* talent on the court" for #2

"Should be" just comes across as butthurt

I hope that guy knows Watford is using this official to be able to watch Bama/LSU in person. Its a Bama/Memphis battle at the End of the Day. LSU is #3

Collin hasnt impressed his teammates. They saying he doesnt "know how to play" i dont know if thats a reflection of Collin or Avery.

Might be a reflection of the Cavs roster full of losers

The NBA and really pro sports in general have way too much stupid drama for my taste.

Collin doesn’t even start. They won’t let him. The rest of his teammates are garbage

Article says offensive efficiency drops from like 114 to 100 pts/100poss when Sexton is on the floor

Sexton has the talent so sounds like they are right that he needs to learn how to play
