From what Alabama bball twitter/X has shown, I think Aden has a ton of confidence going into this year. The Frosh seem to be stepping. Houston, SEC might have a problem. He and Wrightsell are great vet guards for us, I hope.

The comments about Holloway getting a bit bigger and stronger while improving his defense were encouraging. He did say that previously he would have been thought of as the weak link defensively when talking about the backcourt, so the improvements will need to be substantial. I’ll take a wait and see approach when we face top 10 teams rather than immediately being critical seeing him on the court. Good to see the young man working and hope it pays off for him!

That's fricking awesome.
I have heard that coaches get less info from these exhibitions than in secret scrimmages. They don't want to put things on film, and play absurd rotations just to get everybody playing time. That says, I don't give a frick, I'm dying for some basketball.

if Hannah is that good a defender, this team will be so much better than many were thinking it would be. Because that comparison is crazy. Herb walked into the NBA and was instantly a top 10 defender in the league. Hannah in the same breath is extraordinarily high praise. Because we have had some decent individual defenders since Herb.

My thoughts are Auburn will still be able to get buckets and play some nice iso ball but for the first time in the while they don’t have a rim protector to help bail out the defense.

I think they will be decent but like you said they don't seem to have time protection.
They also don't look that tall but maybe my eyes was playing tricks on me.

Their defense is gonna be a problem. Every time Ok State needed a bucket they just drove to the basket and got a layup.( or Anthony Roy just made a 3)
