I think it’s more because there’s teams that have an easier path to 2-0. Like if we’re dogs in game 1 it makes sense that teams that are favored by 8 in their 2 games would be a smidge higher.

If we’re dogs can knock off Gonzaga we have a great chance.

The tournament has some weird tie breakers that reward points scored, so hopefully style of play will favor us too

From an ESPN article. Not once did they mention Wrightsell and Bethea being out. What's worse is three of their writers collectively wrote it.

Say what you want about the rebounding, but acting like our success is built upon both Philon and Aden playing well is a joke. At full health, we have the best and deepest guard room in the country.

2-2 is a great result in that stretch given the circumstances, but man it's hard not to think about us having Bristow against Purdue and Wrightsell last night. Each player would have likely helped in a major problem area in each of those games. Bethea also looked great in practices. Once we are at full health, this team will be really good. Rebounding has been a problem in our 2 losses, but we also pushed the rebounding battle against the second best rebounding team in the country so I'm a little less concerned than most.

Do we have any idea who we would draw next if we beat Unlv tonight

Would be another 1-1 team. I’m assuming they won’t match us up with a team from our conference or St John’s so maybe Houston, Creighton or Maryland.

I think they factor in point differential and bullshite.

Conference play is what ive heard, but not from codename or anyone official.
