Are we expecting any changes to the starting 5?

Kentucky cant shoot at all from outside. Teams will back away from them and not let them drive and crash the basket.
That was all they could do on offense.

They have one sharpshooter, Mintz, who didn’t play much yesterday. Saw Cal chewing him out for a few minutes.

Good question, but I doubt it.

I do expect that the minutes will be much different though.

We went 7-31 from three last game (22.6%) which is pretty terrible for us. We are capable of shooting a lot better than that, hopefully we can get hot in this tournament.

If we just shoot 35-40 we beat a lot of teams this year

Yep. We shot 35% as a team last year.

We shot about 35% last year as a team I believe.

Now we have a roster with several more capable shooters and some of them have a year of experience in the system.

So I feel like 35% should be the floor tbh. If we can hit closer to that 40% mark - look out.

I'm very excited, gonna be a long day. I'm off work thankfully and get to watch basketball all day so maybe it will go by fast. About to watch the first game of the tournament, Texas vs Davidson, should be a good one.

Stanford may be a top 10 defense in the country, they were 16th last year, so tonight may not be the night we get hot. I would take the under if I were betting, both teams should be good this year defensively.

We need to drive and kick a lot and hopefully we can get some open threes and knock them down. Getting them to play at our pace will be big too, we need to make it an up and down game, that would benefit us. Scoring points in transition would help a lot.

To all the fellow degenerates in here, our TT is at 76.5. I don’t care what kind of defense Stanford has. We get our points regardless, hammer it and have a beer on me when it hits.

Bill Walton is pretty much ruining this game. It's funny and unique to go off topic every so often. It gets old after he rambles on about the mountains, the Bahamas, etc.. after every play.

He is a huge Pac 12 homer too, I am sure he will be pulling for Stanford all game.

I like him usually but you're right, he is going extra off topic today, even for him, and it's annoying.
