Hard fought, physical, football on the basketball court, gut check win vs a desperate Ky team.
Great win! Smoking a victory cigar fellas.

Whoohoo! I'll take it! I didn't feel great about this game. UK was hungry and we are due a loss. But they gritted it out and won. Love this team.

Nate Oats is now 30-18 since taking over as Alabama’s coach last season, and 17-10 in the SEC. That includes two wins each over Kentucky, Auburn, LSU, Mississippi State and Ole Miss.

Herb is the foundation of the team. He does so many things well.

Cal is very likable off the court, but my God the dude doesn’t see an empty possession where they weren’t screwed by the officials.

He needs to adapt or die though. The midrange game is dead and should only be a very last resort. His team this year treats it like the first option.

He's such a great basketball player.

He's like a 80% FT shooter now! I mean holy hell.

When we get done celebrating our team’s resiliency, can we discuss our ball movement or lack thereof? What were we trying to accomplish the last 30 minutes of the game? The ball never moved...strictly iso ball. That’s not what got us to where we are.

Shack played great too, despite being 1 for 6 from three he still scored 21 points and was clutch at the foul line.

But yes, this team goes as far as Herb can take us. Most players wouldn't be playing with a fricked up finger and an injured back/hip, but he almost had a triple double playing through it.

I don't know what the deal was from the 15 minute mark to about the 3 minute mark.

We started screening and moving the ball the last 3 minutes, and we got better drives and more defensive chasing.

I'm really not sure what the deal was before.

Announcers want Texas to win as badly as Dickie V wanted UK to pull it out.

Alabama puts on a clinic on how to close a game, going on a 17-5 run in the final 3:30 to win the game 70-59. Now a showdown with #24 Oklahoma in Norman awaits the Tide on Saturday.

It's almost like we decided to push and beat them at the free throw line.

I dont know alot about BBall, but that seemed to be the plan in the second half.
