Played pretty poorly and still up by 3, so things could be worse.

We've played decent for the most part. Shots just didn't fall like they usually do, and Kentucky's defense has kept us from getting comfortable. Defensive intensity has been there, so gotta be happy with that. Hopefully that shot will give JQ some confidence for the 2nd half.

That call that led to an and-one on Gary was just absolute horse shite. Replay showed he didn't even touch him.Then the late call on Petty after we get the rebound.
Just can't get calls vs UK anywhere. They were awful in Rupp earlier this year too.
We gotta play better on offense though. Primo is clearly the go-to guy tonight. Keep feeding him and try to establish some game inside. Defense has been spectacular tonight.

Our D is playing as good as our offense is bad. Without some of those weak foul calls and they BS three they hit we would be up about 10.

I’d like to see somebody step up, knowing Herb is banged up. Anybody. I’m not really fretting and still think we win, but we’ll see what we’re made of after the half. Another good opportunity, like MSU, to show we can get a win when things aren’t going our way.

We are a banged up team, showing a lot of heart on defense. Hopefully some shots start falling this half, Kentucky has been playing really good defense as well.

With Bruner out and Reese & Herb & Rojas not 100%, we really need guys like Petty, Shack, Primo, and Quinerly to play well.
We can’t have 2-3 of them have mediocre to subpar games.

We are playing with intensity and purpose. Very good defense. We are just battling poor shooting and the refs it seems like. Man I hope we start shooting to form in the second half. You never want to miss a chance of beating Kentucky.
