I never pull for Auburn in anything, but they’d be doing a real solid for Bama if they won tomorrow.
Auburn is favored by 2.5, which is surprising to me.

Stoked that we finally get a early tip for the weekday game.

This may be common knowledge, but it seems like we’ve played every Tuesday since conference play started. Maybe we have a lot of Wednesday games coming, but it seems like it’s usually more of a mixed schedule?

I like Tuesday night better personally. 3 of the next 4 weeks we play on Wednesday night.

Who is the most hateable guy on Bama? Probably Petty, right? Maybe Reese or Rojas? Nobody seems to hate Herb Jones, he's Mr Blue Collar work hard guy.

Well I think Kentucky hates Primo more than anyone just bc he asked Coach Cal what the score was when we were up 20 in Rupp

Finding motivation to beat a team that embarrassed you on your home floor shouldn’t be difficult, and judging by the comments coming out of Kentucky’s camp, the Cats are more than ready for tomorrow night’s rematch with No. 9 Alabama. This morning, senior forward Olivier Sarr recalled some trash talk by the Crimson Tide during the 85-65 blowout in Rupp Arena on Jan. 12, which he and his teammates are eager to avenge. “Good for them,” Sarr said of the Crimson Tide being in first place in the SEC. “It’s helping bring the best out of us. It’s a good challenge. We’re going to war over there and I know the guys are ready. It’s a great challenge for us. They talked a lot during the game so we’ve got good motivation.” When asked, Sarr did not disclose what Alabama’s players said. “I mean, you know what’s happening on a basketball court. A lot of guys talk whether it’s trash or whether it’s just to get you out of your game. I’m not going to pinpoint exactly everything they said. We don’t need to do that. But all we know is that they talked a lot. It’s not part of our game. We’re just trying to focus on what we do and we’ll try to do that at the best of our abilities, and that’s what we’re going to try and do on Tuesday.” John Calipari remembers exactly what one player said, bringing it up during his press conference following Kentucky’s 82-69 win over LSU Saturday night. “One of the players was asking me the score,” Cal said. “He couldn’t see it. You know, they’re good. They’re a top-10 team. They deserve to be. You know what? For us, I told them about this game. These are the games you want to play to where you know you’re not supposed to win the game. Now you go and it gets you going, you play. Instead of playing not to lose you play to win. You don’t look at the scoreboard.” BJ Boston, coming off back-to-back 18-point games, echoed Calipari’s remarks. “You know just go out there with the same mindset we did today, just go there to win, not playing to lose. Just play as a team and play defense, just go out there and play ball.”
“Everybody is hunting them right now,” Bruiser Flint said of the Crimson Tide. “They’re in first place. They’re undefeated in the conference. We’ve just got to play better than we did the last time. We’ve got to do some things differently. But they’re the hot team in the league right now, so we’ve got to give them our best.”

Imagine being ranked outside the top 10 in College basketball.
Losers.
Couldn't be us.
Couldn't be us.

I hope so. I think we win but they are probably gonna be able to outmuscle Reese and KAH down low. Would be nice to have Rojas back.
I think we win by about 6.

Rewatching the Western Kentucky game to see what the main differences in us now and back then are and a few thoughts so far are...
We went with a really weird starting lineup, Herb, Shack, Petty, Rojas, Bruner.
Our offense was not clicking at all, 5 minutes into the game we had two points. Our ball movement has improved light years since this game.
Western Kentucky isn't a bad team, they are better than Mississippi State imo.
Our tempo wasn't nearly as good as it is now, we played at their pace most of the game.
Our defense has improved a lot, we look like a different/better team in about every area than we did in this game.

Yeah, I remember being really curious about our tempo (or lack thereof) earlier in the season.
Wonder if that was by design, or if we just couldn't execute? Things seemed to change dramatically after that supposed incident involving Petty and Rojas.

That is what the KY players said. Everybody is hunting us (Ala) now. Usually KY is the hunted in our league. They get everyone's best effort, sort of like Alabama football. Primo better be ready to man up because he will be the hunted tonight. But, I am more concerned about the lack of interior rebounding and defense.
